Stan Hansen pinned Sting after a short lariat in 0:23:25.

Match Observations:

We should have known it by now. Stan Hansen will always prevail - nobody is good
enough to avoid eventually being lariated and pinned by the burly veteran. This
time it was Sting who learned a lesson about wrestling. The teacher, of course,
was none other than Hansen.

The next one in line for a title shot is the bad guy, Razor Ramon.

Speaking of title shots: the Midnight Express will have to defend the tag team
titles against Too Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell at the Royal Rumble, while
the 1-2-3 Kid will challenge IC champion Owen Hart according to insiders.

Jimmy Del Rey has announced his return to the WWF, much to Jim Cornette's
discontent. The Gigolo hasn't forgotten what Cornette and his goons did to him
last year. It remains to be seen, however, who will be his new tag team partner.
Del Rey told us he was going to have a major surprise for Cornette and issued a
challenge to Tom Prichard and Rocko Rock. They accepted and will face Del Rey
and his ominous partner at the Royal Rumble.

Stay tuned for more.
