Match Observations:

Is the team of Shawn Michaels and Diesel in a slump ? Two losses out of two
matches certainly is nothing to brag about. Maybe it's time for the two to go
separate ways.

Speaking of separate ways, those of the Steiners and Arn Anderson and Barry
Windham will definitely cross sometime soon.

The earliest point for such an encounter will be at the Survivor Series, where
Barry and Arn will face either Toshiaki Kawada and Genichiro Tenryu in a rematch
or a new challenge in the Steiner Brothers.

Who exactly will challenge the Horsemen will be determined next Friday night
in Madison Square Garden.

In a related matter, Wayne Shamrock has announced he will retire from wrestling
next month. Who will take his spot in the Horsemen is still the focus of much
speculation, however it is said to be somebody who has been on the same side as
the Horsemen just as often as he's been their opposition.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Also at the MSG card look for the Patriot to defend his title against the 1-2-3
Kid. Anderson and Windham will have to face the challenge of Bobby Eaton and
Stan Lane, the Midnight Express, with their manager Jim Cornette. Sting will get
a rematch against Toshiaki Kawada, and it will be a two-out-of-three falls match
with Sting being accompanied by Razor Ramon and Kawada being seconded by his tag
team partner Genichiro Tenryu.

Rounding out the card will be a six-man-tag with Diesel, Shawn Michaels and
Razor Ramon facing Hiroshi Hase, Great Muta and Genichiro Tenryu and a top
contenders match for the WWF title between Ric Flair and Rick Martel.
