Match Observations:

Boy, Big Titan was mad. Actually, the word "mad" might be an understatement. He
completely destroyed two dressing rooms and threw a TV monitor through Arn
Anderson's dressing room door.

Anderson may have won the IC title, but he has little to look forward to.

As expected, the Bret Hart vs Sandman match was wild and wooly. Bret came out
on top and deservedly so, however he was in no condition to wrestle the
Undertaker, who came off of an easy victory against the Barbarian and an even
match against Razor Ramon. Hart, on the other hand, came off of two very hard
matches against Too Cold Scorpio and The Sandman. Thus, Hart's quick loss
didn't come unexpected. While many people will only see Scorpio's loss in
retrospect, it shouldn't go unmentioned that he was the first person ever to
endure the Sharpshooter for over half a minute before submitting. Way to go,
Scorp !

What did come unexpected, though, is Undertaker's sudden change of attitude.
Paul Bearer may have cost Razor Ramon the quarterfinal, as it didn't look like
the Undertaker would have kicked out of the Razor's Edge.

Ric Flair took Shawn Michaels to school once again. Sometimes I really
question Michaels' brains. He has wrestled Flair twice now, and both times
Flair tricked Michaels into turning his back on him, which enabled Flair to
take the match.

If there was any question whether or not Eddy Guerrero is a deserving WWF
titleholder, it should have dissolved with the Vader match. Yes, Eddy didn't
win, that's true. He held Vader to a thirty minute draw. This wouldn't
qualify as beating Vader. What does stand out here is that Guerrero kicked
out of Vader's Power Bomb, which four of the WWF's top stars of all time fell
victim to: Jake Roberts, Bret Hart, Diesel and even Shawn Michaels. If this
isn't the mark of a true champion, what is ? Guerrero will face big challenges
over the next few months from people like Vader, Ric Flair and The Undertaker,
but for now he's the *real* world champion.
