BC = Brian Christopher
VM = Vince McMahon
HH = Hollywood Hogan
[ Brian Christopher grabs the microphone after his loss against Hayabusa. ]
BC: Now that I have this match out of the way, let's get down to the fun part.
Vince McMahon - you know that I beat Flair fair and square in the middle of
the ring. You also know that I've come to you time and again and demanded a
shot at the WWF World Title. Every time I've done that, you've come up with
some kind of lame excuse... you said I'd have to beat two of your very top
stars to get my wish. Flair was one of them. You never did tell me who the
other one was, though. Get your ass out here Vince !
VM: Hey, Brian... is that one win getting to your head or what ? You're nothing
more than a bonafide loser and you know it. You...
BC: Take your attitude and shove it ! I will prove to you and to everyone else
that I'm the future of the WWF - no matter whom you put in my way, I'll beat
him !
VM: As I was going to say before you interrupted me, bozo... you have no chance
in hell at beating the man I'm going to put in front of you this time.
BC: What makes you so sure, asshole ?
VM: Let's just say I'm absolutely sure. In fact, so sure that I'll even let you
pick the stipulations.
BC: Rest assured... I will.
VM: Fine then... you will face your ultimate test at In Your House.
BC: And who will that... whooo... "ultimate test"... be ?
VM: You'll have to wait to find out. What stipulations do you want ?
BC: Well, Vinnie Mac... you'll notice when the time is right.

Interview
Arn Anderson challenged Ric Flair to come out of retirement for one more match.
AA = Arn Anderson
AA: Listen, people... I have something important to say. Everybody knows that
the Horsemen have been the dominant force in the wrestling world for over
twenty years. Whether you loved us or hated us, we haven't once disappointed
you fans. We have always given you everything we had. The time for us to
ride off into the sunset has come, and we know it. I only have one request.
Ric Flair... you left with your head up and said you'd never return. You're
my best friend in the world and I respect your decision. Still, I don't feel
what you did was right. You, arguably the biggest star in wrestling history,
deserve a proper sendoff. We, the most dominant group in wrestling history,
deserve a proper sendoff. What I'm suggesting to you, Ric, and the WWF is
to let the Four Horsemen face the reigning WWF Champion, the WWF Tag Team
Champions and the WWF Intercontinental Champion in WarGames in October.
Think about it... I'm going to be standing right here in this ring again in
two weeks at SummerSlam, and I want to hear your decision.

Match Observations:
What a night !
We almost saw hometown heroes Bret Hart and Val Venis walk away with the WWF
World Tag Team Titles... one additional second would have been sufficient. They
shouldn't let it get to them, though, as it has been made clear that they will
get another chance at the titles at the October "In Your House" from Toronto.
Arn Anderson's speech brought tears to the eyes of not only the fans but many
officials and wrestlers as well. Here's hoping Ric Flair will show up at
SummerSlam in Detroit. However, even if Flair shows up... who can guarantee that
the request for WarGames will be granted ? Who would join the Horsemen on their
side ?
The Rock and Hogan are one for one now. Maivia shouldn't underestimate the
devious and cunning legend of the ring - he's already forced Rocky out of the
WWF. For that very reason, Rocky has nothing to lose, however, and will pursue
his quest for reinstation in the WWF. We have been told by inside sources that
what the Rock has planned is a foolproof way of getting back in - now we only
need a fool to prove him right, and Hogan might fit the bill perfectly.
Ken Shamrock will challenge the Undertaker for the Brawl For All Title at
SummerSlam with Dan Severn as the special guest referee in his hometown of
Detroit.
Who will Brian Christopher's opponent be and what is he trying to hide from us ?
Two more questions which will be addressed at SummerSlam.
Steve Williams and Stan Hansen have been deemed the top contenders for Cactus
Jack and Sabu's WWF World Tag Team Titles. Not too long ago, it was Williams and
Rick Steiner who ended their reign... will history repeat itself ?
Hayabusa will be Kendo Ka Shin's opponent in his very first title defense of
the Intercontinental title. Hayabusa's hard-hitting chair-swinging style may
prove to be too much for Ka Shin's recently injured back. More on that in only
two weeks.
After his tainted victory against former champion Dan Severn, Al Snow will have
to face another former champion for the title at SummerSlam: Chris Benoit.
The Crippler literally squashed Ahmed Johnson in a little over a minute as a
tune-up match for Snow, and if Benoit is as vicious and ferocious at SummerSlam
as he was tonight, Snow is in for a rude awakening.
Only two more weeks to go ! We'll see you at SummerSlam !
