Random Interference
Fighter_Hayabusa | Posted on 06/03/03 at 15:04:14 AAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! >:( I have "Random Interference" and "Force Interference" turned off, and random interference STILL happens. Does anyone else have this problem? I hope it's fixed in the second edition. FH |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/03/03 at 18:49:06 Anything else you can tell me about the circumstances ? Would make narrowing it down easier... |
Fighter_Hayabusa | Posted on 06/03/03 at 19:49:28 The accidental interference happened in a tournament final between Jerry Lynn and Kid Kash. Instead of running a straight tournament, I had it set for winner of match vs. winner of match style. Lynn had beaten Xavier in the semifinals, and it was Xavier who interfered in the match. As previously stated, random interference and force interference are not checked. Is there any way just to keep the wrestlers' queues constantly cleared? Thanks for your help! FH |
Tom_Imp | Posted on 06/03/03 at 21:34:09 It happens to me all the time. I have noticed it happens a little less than when it's turned on, but it still happens nonetheless with is annoying. The clear queue never occured to me. That's a good idea. Only problem is you would have to do every wrestler individually which would take forever. Now, if there was an option to clear ALL wrestlers, now that would be awesome. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/04/03 at 09:50:20 I'll will fix it, that's a promise. |

As someone who's been using TNM since 1999, it's really cool to see that you're still supporting and improving the program. I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say thanks a lot. FH |

Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/05/03 at 23:15:52 Thanks that you guys have hung in there despite my not being around much for the past few years. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/05/03 at 23:42:57 I just changed the only part of the code where random interference *could* have come from even if it had been unchecked. From what I see, the only "loophole" in TNM 7 is in cases where the interferers come from a stable or tag team. Can anybody confirm this ? |
kic | Posted on 06/09/03 at 08:36:18 Well, I can add to where this has happened when it was off. I had a tag-team match, and a "team" (they're not an official team, but they've wrestled together multiple times) interfered, and then a couple of matches later, a "real" team interfered in another match on the same card. I was under the impression it was something that's supposed to happen because both times there were parties involved that have had some matches previously. It actually worked out well that it happened since it sent things in an unforseen direction, but if that's not supposed to happen, then I suppose it should be fixed. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/09/03 at 12:13:33 I'm making it user-defined... switch it on or off, your call :-) |
