Circuit screwed?

OK, I think I have screwed up MWA, and it's my fault.

I booked a card, and before running it, I decided to clean up my database by deleting a lot of wrestlers. Unfortunately, you shouldn't be able to delete wrestlers when you have an unrun card, as it screws up the card.
I have done this before, and should have done better.

I suspect TNM uses some kind of arbitrary number system to determine who wrestles each match, and when you delete some wrestlers, this gets jumbled up. After watching the first match (which was between Tim Donst and Erick Stevens, instead of Shayne Hawke and Erick Stevens), TNM quit. When I go back into the circuit and try to continue the card (pressing enter) or shutting down the match (Ctrl + N), TNM quits.

Any suggestions? Or is the circuit wrecked?

Ya know, when Oliver released the new build a few weeks ago, I did the same thing. I always have cards booked as I run two circuits in real time. I usually book cards right after I run one, so I never have a time where I don't have a booked card. Anyway, I also deleted some wrestlers, then tried to run my next card, and TNM shut down.

Fortunately I created a backup, so I was able to restore the backup and things were back to normal.

Backups are good. I never use backups. But that time, I was lucky that I thought of it.

I know it doesn't help Rey, unless you have created a backup recently. You could try to finish the card (i know that TNM gives you that option when it shuts down while running a card) and then deleting the already finished card. That might fix the problem. I have done this before, but never in this instance.

Good luck.

Can you just shut down the card  (Ctrl + S) and move on?

Then you can either kayfabe explain the event was cancelled due to something like a bad snowstorm/hurricane...

But if you can't do that, then maybe you can send an e-mail to Oliver asking if he can fix it.

The Ctrl + S combination doesn't work.. nothing happens then. I will try and contact Oliver. Which adress does he check the most?

If everything fails, I can always try to rebuild the circuit. I'm using the Financial Spreadsheet, so everything from push to heat is registered somewhere. The only downside is that I'll have to check two folders/circuits for circuit history.
