Not quite sure exactly what went wrong. :'(

I've been successfully runnning TNM7 for years now.  I've run into some problems lately.  I was getting an error anytime I tried to run one of my circuits but tnmagnt fixed that.  I'm having a media problem.

Sorry to be redundant, but it's an error 7.  I've run tnmdiag, I've tried memmaker, no luck.  I tried editing config.sys but had no luck and actually crashed my computer.

Basically, whenever I try to play a theme, and it calls to winamp or realplayer it crashes with a....

Error 7 at pgm-ctr: 342583

I've actually upgraded my computer with more memory recently too.  I can make no sense of this.  Do I need to get rid of more wrestlers?  Too many plug-ins?

How many wrestlers are in your database?
MookSmashPosted on 04/27/03 at 07:49:49

A heck of alot, but I don't remember adding huge numbers of them at all.  I'd say over 1000.  Cutting that down isn't a problem, I don't use alot of them.  It's just that while I have added wrestlers it's been no more than 20-25 since it last worked.

I'll try a cleanout tonight and let you know.  Any other ideas?

And THANK YOU for responding!  :) :)

Cut it down to 800, still error 7.
What could possibly be wrong?

What operating system are you running (i.e., which Windows version) ?

You might want to try and optimize the amount of conventional memory available for your DOS prompt.

Running WIN98, and memmaker was no help.  I even tried meddling a little with config.sys

Please e-mail me config.sys and autoexec.bat. Sometimes the human eye can spot things that memmaker can't ;-)
