Just curious...

But is there any way to increase the maximum weight limit for TNM?
LillaThrillaPosted on 03/27/03 at 04:17:27

Might I ask why you would want a wrestler heavier than 800 lbs???

Fatest wrestler I ever heard of was in the 500s...

I agree, why would you even want somebody over 800 pounds. They wouldnt even be able to walk, much less wrestle, their bones couldnt handle it, not to mention the muscle atrophy from being bed ridden.
Don't get me totally wrong here, there comes certain times where you may need a very very heavy person, but 800 pounds should do it. I mean, I had a Star Wars federation where I created all the characters from the original trilogy, but 800 was enough even for Jabba.

Heh.  I got bored the other day and I remembered that The Thing from the Fantastic Four was part of a wrestling promotion in the FF comic book called the Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation.

Sooo, I decided that I was going to install another TNM database made up purely of superheros turned wrestlers.

So far I've got 133 of them done.  And some of them, guys like the Hulk, The Juggernaut, and a bunch of others weigh a bit more than 800lbs.  There's a character from the PITT comics that weighs 1800.  Pretty scary.

So, yeah.  I was just curious to see if I could get them in there as accurate as possible.

The hardest part about this is thinking up finishers for these guys that are actual wrestling moves.  Pain in my ass, that.

That's the thing though.  These guys aren't fat.  Hulk is 1040lbs of pure gamma radiated muscle, PITT is even heavier, WROTH is 1800lbs, so on and so fourth.  And I'm a perfectionist.  Heh.

I stand corrected. I was thinking only in the realm or normal human wrestlers. Thats a good concept though, with the superheros and villains, and yeah, there are a lot of them over the 800 pound limit, unfortunately, I am pretty sure you can't increase it.

Don't forget about GALACTUS! :o

Don't think I'm gonna even try to use him.  Something about that goofy helmet.

Not to get off the topic of superhero's but wasn't Yokozuna pretty close to 800lbs by the end of his career?
CarlzillaPosted on 03/27/03 at 23:19:46

no
cerberosPosted on 03/28/03 at 05:14:05

I could have swore that he was over 700 pounds when he passed away...huh guess even I can be wrong once.
Oliver CoppPosted on 04/05/03 at 08:07:24

Hmmm... tell you what... if you send me that superhero export, I'll give you a patched version of the TNM 7 ControlCenter which allows for greater weights ;-)
