Stable error
ggazoo | Posted on 03/12/03 at 05:07:09 I'm getting an error when I press "b" to select from Stables while booking...this never happened to me until recently. Do I hae to assign managers to each indivdual wrestler as well as have them in a stable under the same manager? Could that be it? I'm lost..:( |
Carlzilla | Posted on 03/12/03 at 06:08:57 I don't think you have to assign all the managers separatly, at least I didn't. Strange. |
John Proulx | Posted on 03/12/03 at 18:08:33 I have had something similar happen to me before. I have found that editing the circuit-specific stable database clears it up. I've also had this happen to the tag team database. |
psz | Posted on 03/13/03 at 04:09:37 Remember: If you create a Cicuit Specific Tag Team or Stable, TNM will not use the global databases for Tag Teams or Stables (depending on which you created). This means if you make Ron and Don Harris a tag team in the Circuit Specific Database, you'll not have access to the Global Tag Team Database (Can't use 'T' to select from tag teams). |

I've never had that problem. Then again, I always work in e-mail mode (no hiring), so maybe that makes a difference. |
LillaThrilla | Posted on 03/13/03 at 07:58:00I'm getting an error when I press "b" to select from Stables while booking...this never happened to me until recentlyThis seems to be an odd quirk in TNM sometimes and also happens with Tag Teams. But its not consistent - one day it'll work and the next day you'll get an error, both times on the same TNM copy in the same circuit. The way around it ever happening is to make sure you go into your tag team and stables databases before you start booking a card (you dont actually need to change anything, just go into Circuit Databases -> Tag Teams then back out and repeat with Stables). This seems to initialize/wake up/whatever TNM7 so it does have an error. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 03/20/03 at 23:49:47 What kind of an error is it that you get ? Does the program continue on or does it stop ? |
John Proulx | Posted on 03/21/03 at 01:41:50 The error I get -- which occurs when attempting to use 't' or 'b' when selecting wrestlers for matches -- terminates the program, but only sometimes. When I get it again, I will make sure to write down the error info and post it. |
