Politics in the circuit

HHH holds down guys he doesn't like.  At least that's the word on the street.
Do politics play into your circuits.  does HHH hold back the stars in your circuits?  Would it be realistic if it didn't?
In my fantasy circuits I have two friends who came up with great characters.  But they always fight each other and think they should be at the top of the circuit no matter what.  But one friend is always better then the other and visaversa.  So anything I show to them is influenced by their behind the scenes politics.
If yo post a circuit politics of the fan reaction must play a part.

Since given the nature of the community there are not a ton of individual circuit responses for any circuit, I don't know how much "fan response" on here plays a part.  I know for me I like to add some backstage flavor on certain situations.  Usually it's along the lines that if someone quits unexpectedly, I create a backstage problem they had with a promotor or another wrestler or whatever.

As far as crowd response, I do tend to use the built-in TNM heat to determine if I should alter a push.  Since on TNM it's more common for wrestlers to be of a high heat than a low heat, I generally use it to de-push.  For instance, Gene Kiniski in my GCW-OS circuit was relatively over and when World champion Bruno Sammartino decided not to re-sign, I hotshotted the title to Kiniski.  I planned on Kiniski having a good lengthy reign, but as soon as he won the title, his heat went from an 8 down to a 6 pretty quickly.  The crowd didn't take to him as champion, so I put it on Bobo Brazil.  Kiniski soon got back up to an 8.  They buy him, just not as champion.

I am thinking of starting a storyline in one of my circuits where one of the top guy openly plays politics to get back to the top ... kinda like Edge & Vicki ...

I just haven't decided who and which circuit I will do this in ... probably my TNA circuit since Kurt Angle is there, and he would be perfect for that role
