Disaster deleting moves

King_Of_Old_SchoolPosted on 07/05/10 at 21:42:54

I was deleting a couple of moves from my database.  When I came to select a replacement for the move being deleted, the program shut itself down (no error message was displayed).  I fired TNM back up and discovered that random moves were popping in wrestlers' move lists, in particular their "finisher like" move.  Basically, all the movesets of my wrestler exports are now muddled up.  Anybody know how to solve this??

(BTW, yes I do have too many moves in my database.  How foolish do I feel now for bragging about how my TNM was running without any problems!)

Luckily, I backed up everything about a week and a half ago, so I was able to save the majority of changes. Apparently, the program ran out of memory somewhere in the middle and I ended up with an inconsistent database.

So I now need to delete a plethora of moves from my database so this doesn't happen again. I have removed full nelson stretch, bridging cobra clutch and savate kick (as per discussions on here). More shall follow.

what's a full nelson stretch anyway and what did you replace the cobra stretch (bridging cobra clutch) with?

It's a full nelson applied to a grounded opponent.  The attacker then leans back to apply pressure, like when a crossface is applied.

I replaced the cobra stretch with cobra clutch.
