Force Hiring Wrestlers

The Mat ManiacPosted on 06/26/08 at 00:48:43

I know there was a way to force hire wrestlers when hiring them in your circuit (and I dont mean where ALL wrestlers are available....when you have to hire)... any help would be great...

What you do is go to circuit information then to about circuit. Change it to email mode. then go back to wrestlers pick the person you want. Hire him for the time you want then go back to circuit info and about circuit. Change back to hire wrestlers.

The wrestler you wanted will be hired.

Or, just use ~ in the match mode... Mystery Wrestlers work, too.

Tweak Circ works really well for me  ;D

psz' solution is the correct one, as far as I can understand what the OP wants. Although I think you just hire them for that match. If you want to force hire them for longer, Thinkkman's solution is correct.

You can also do it the way Lazy said. If your trying to hire someone and they don't want to sign then you switch it to email mode. All the wrestlers will show. Go down the list and when you try to sign the person again he will accept. Once he does change it back to hire mode and you forced the guy to sign on long term. When you go back to the wrestlers list only the wrestlers you signed will show not all of them

bottom line, there are many ways for you to achieve your goals

You can also manually edit CIRCDB.DAT if you know what you're doing. Reading PLUGINS.DOC will teach you about the contents of this (and other) TNM components.

What program would you use to edit said .DAT file?

It's possible I'm wrong, so take this with a grain of salt:

I've found basic text editors (such as NOTEPAD.EXE) work for editing most .DAT files. Depending on what OS you're running, just right click on the file you want to open and select "OPEN WITH" from the menu. If NOTEPAD isn't listed under this heading, click "CHOOSE PROGRAM" and select NOTEPAD from the list. I usually try to make sure "ALWAYS USE THIS PROGRAM TO OPEN THIS TYPE OF FILE" is unchecked when opening sensitive files like .DATs.
