The new plugin

rey619Posted on 05/05/08 at 10:56:42

So... has anybody tried the new build and the new plugin? I am at work now, so I cannot check it until I get back home.

Either way, it's great to see a new release to TNM!

So, TNM7SE reg codes work fine on Build 5c, I am happy to note. I'm always a little worried about that.

The Personality Wizard seems to function identically to the Crowd Chant wizard, in that you're given 3 different areas to make taunts for (Face, Heel, and Either). As soon as I actually think up some unique taunts for my fantasy wrestlers, I'll be able to give it a better test drive. No bugs and/or errors yet, though, not that i was really expecting any.

P.S. I am on a WindowsXP Home system. Good luck to the Vista users out there.

Never really used the Crowd Chant wizard, but I'll give it a shot. It always bugged me that you couldn't save the chants with an export.

I don't know that you can save taunts with the Personality Wizard to an export, either. Same with the Special Moves Wizard which, indeed, is a shame.

Yeah, I think it applies to all Windows based plugins.

I'm hoping this is the first of many upgrades to be released.

so, if I download the new build, will it affect my current circuits? that has always been my concern.

It never has with past builds.

But if this build does delete all your circuits, I'm not to blame.  ;D

If it does, I will unleash Jake on you in a ways you can't imagine.

But since its Jake, it won't be that bad. He will probably be waiting weeks for the build to download, after repeated tries to download it.

Yeah I went there again. The classics never die.

I don't think you have to use your codes. For me, the new build just installed over the old one, without any codes necessary.

And no circuits were deleted, not even my UWF Tribute circuit where Bubblegum has been champ for 340 cards.
ThnikkamanPosted on 05/05/08 at 19:36:28

Yeah, I didn't need the codes. But I did find them just in case. The new build did fix whatever problem I was having with my gimmick database as I can now access it and add/edit/whatever more gimmick matches

Hi Guys.

I actually seem to have a password problem with the new build: after installing it, I've activated TNM and got a "the entered data is invalid".

I've checked again & again - the password & all of the rest seems to match. I've been using the same password since 1998 or so and never asked it to be replaced.

Already e-mailed Oliver about this, but since I don't know how available he is for such matters, I'm trying here as well.

I'd be thankful for any help.

Plugins always have different, random passwords. You don't create a password for them.

But I guess you are referring to TNM itself. Are you going to a new build or are you going from TNM 6.2 to 7?
GordbergPosted on 07/17/08 at 15:33:28

That's indeed what I was reffering to.

All I wanted was to update the TNM build to 5C. I even had no intention of using the plugin itself.

The starting point previous to this installation was TNM7SE Build 4.

That makes no sense to me. Hopefully someone else can help you because the password you registered TNM7SE with should be constant.

If you copied and pasted the password from an e-mail or something, make sure there are no extra spaces. That's happened to me before where TNM wouldn't accept a password because I copied an extra space or two.
