what are these?

LillaThrillaPosted on 09/08/07 at 22:42:38

backslide driver
CHIKARA Special
crucifix power bomb DDT / Cliffhanger
dropsault (moonsault dropkick?)
crucifix driver
kip-up Frankensteiner (as opposed to a regular Frankensteiner)
hiptoss bomb
Mariachina
Maximo Spin
reverse hiptoss bomb
slingshot Flatliner
small package driver (God's Last Gift)
snap mare driver
throat suplex (CrackerJack)
wheelbarrow DDT
wheelbarrow neckbraker
wheelbarrow slam

I know what a lung blower / backstabber is. For an inverted lung blower, are you doing it to their chest instead of their back or are you upside down?

Crucifix hold, then flip them down into a DDT (I do believe)

dropsault (moonsault dropkick?)
Yes

kip-up Frankensteiner (as opposed to a regular Frankensteiner)
The attacker kips up (or kip ups, whatever) and instead of landing on their feet, they grab their opponent and hit a frankensteiner.

small package driver (God's Last Gift)
Kevin Steen's finisher?  Or is that a Small Package Powerbomb... or something else completely.

wheelbarrow neckbraker
Go for a wheelbarrow suplex, at the appex turn and hit a neckbreaker

wheelbarrow slam
I'd imagine just bring them up for a wheelbarrow suplex and bring them back down face first.  So a reverse powerbomb.

So basicly a wheelbarrow facebuster aka Vader's Face Eraser?
mamushiPosted on 09/09/07 at 01:11:56

yeah, i'd think so anyway
Mr. Ken KennedyPosted on 09/09/07 at 18:21:31

a dropsault is a moonsault dropkick or a backflip dropkick, whatever you wish to call it.
CarlzillaPosted on 09/10/07 at 11:41:33

The Small Package Driver is Tyler Black's finisher, Kevin Steen's finisher is a Package Piledriver, they are different moves.

the Snap Mare Driver is Jack Thriller's finisher.

I believe the hiptoss bomb is when one goes for a hiptoss but they sit out as they would a Batista bomb with the opponent landing between the legs. A reverse, I assume, would be when the one on the recieving end comes down on their chest/stomach rather than their back.

Oh, and I thought the Lung Blower and Backstabber were different. The Lung Blower would be to the chest and Backstabber to the back. Right? I could be wrong.
rebelinsPosted on 09/10/07 at 22:22:59

The lungblower and backstabber are the same thing, they just named it differently.

The CHIKARA special is a maneuver that Mike Quackenbush used to defeat Chris Hero along with teaching it to several up and coming CHIKARA wrestlers who have also used it to defeat Hero.  It's a little hard to describe but if you're using it for TNM use all you need to know is its a submission move.

Wow, that's a lame-looking move. :-S

Maybe it's just the guy performing it?

It's a lucha libre style submission move, I know Quackenbush used it but I'm not sure if he invented it or not. Quackenbush has been very innovative over the years!

Looks like an Americanized version of a nudo, especially for TNM purposes.

Does anybody do these moves and not have them be their finisher?
rebelinsPosted on 09/11/07 at 01:50:48

'Eh, I didn't know it was used before.  Quackenbush did it better but Dorado was the first video that popped up.  He sucks.
CarlzillaPosted on 09/12/07 at 00:33:09

I don't think so with the Small Package Driver. I've seen other guys use the Snap Mare Driver without it being a finisher.

I also thought of a decent way to describe the Small Package Driver, it's sort of like a Northern Lights Bomb that ends in a small package.

Why would the LUNG BLOWER and BACK STABBER be the same thing? The lungs are in the chest. How can you blow someones lung by putting knees in their back?

Because you also have to grab the victim by the chin and snap his chin back too. It's called a lung blower because it's supposed to "knock the wind" out of the victim. according to Wikipedia it can also be called a double knee backbreaker. However it is in my opinion it could also be kind of a backbreaker/neckbreaker combo variation.

You've never had the wind knocked out of you when you fell on your back in a certain way or on something?

It really sucks...
