Organizing the Dive Database

Since we gave the Move Database a work over, how about the Dive Database too? :)

I made some tweaks and additions to the old list that was on TNM 3:16 so please take a look and see what you think is missing, wrong, or whatever:

Asai bodyblock
I think this is separate from an Asai moonsault bodyblock. I think it's as it sounds, a springboard off the second-rope backwards into a bodyblock. Aerostar recently killed himself doing a springboard version of this. (Most Asai move names aside from the regular version aren't really called anywhere, so it's up to you, mostly.)

Asai moonsault bodyblock and a (La) Quebrada are the same.

Asai corkscrew plancha
This is just as I described the Asai bodyblock, except with a corkscrew. The twisting/tornado versions should be the same, though.

plancha off the turnbuckle
Not sure if you forgot to put moonsault before this, but if not, it should be similar to a flying cross body press, if anything, not a Moonsault plancha.

a pescado is a slingshot plancha/bodyblock, so I'm not sure what's up the ringpost version or somersault bodyblock variations.

Stardust Press is the same as a Phoenix splash, not a regular SSP.

A Super Quebrada is a running turning sort-of-moonsault plancha. TAKA used to do it, but it's not a springboard (although he's probably done a springboard version.))

Yeah, that was a goof - there's even an entry already for a ringpost plancha. :P

Page of 1000 Holds agrees with you, as does the general Google consensus.

Worst part is its listed wrong on the Wiki page for friggin HAYABUSA himself. Oye. Oh well - perils of Wikipedia...

So he runs up the turnbuckle and does a twisting moonsault plancha off it?

It's not the dive that Taka uses on Aguila in their Wrestlemania match?  That looked like a ringpost plancha with a running start...

Is Super Quebrada the same as a Spaceman Quebrada?

Spaceman Quebrada is the right name, it's the translation of the Japanese. It doesn't involve the running up the turnbuckle, he jumps over the top rope for it.
