OK, guys I'm trying to work a list of wrestlers who have wrestled in America and at some point have done some MMA. Here's a list so far...any idea's?

Dan Severn
Ken Shamrock
Sylvester Terkay
Nathan Jones
Tom Howard
Steve "Dr Death" Williams
Sean O'Haire
Tank Abbott
Aaron Aguilera aka Hardcore Kidd aka Jesus
Jushin Liger
Yuji Nagata

And just so NOONE else says it:
Butterbean

PS. Brock has not had a match....yet

.....Daniel Puder didn't have much of a wrestling career; didn't Gary Albright and Vader work some MMA type fights. Does Bob Sap count ( has he signed with WWE yet?).....

Ludvig Borga has as well I think.

Don Frye
Shinsuke Nakamura
Akebono
Josh Barnett
Kendo Ka Shin (Dragon Soldier A or B)
Dos Caras Jr.

Both Gary Albright and Vader worked in the UWFi if I remember correctly, and those were worked shoots, so I don't think it counts.

Tony Halme (aka Ludvig Borga) lost to Randy Couture at a UFC a while back. So yeah he's on the list.

There are new MMA forums on this site BTW.

Oliver must have won at the sportsbook in the Hard Rock last night.  He's up early for Vegas time and he's giving us something new!

(You are still with the UFC correct?)

Something at the back of my mind suggests Fred Kitao might have done more than sumo as well now I think about it. Someone might want to confirm/un-confirm that for me though because it's only a vague recollection.

Bob Sapp should count.  He's worked indies in America

don't forget Paul Vahrlens aka the guy Taz choked out in ECW.

And then there is Bad News Brown/Allan Coage... he was on the 1976 Canadian Olympic team for Judo.  He probably would have been an MMA guy had the opportunity been available back then.

Add James Maritato (Nunzio) to that list as well.

Albright, Vader and Guido don't seem to have any official record.

Who did Josh Barnett wrestle for?

Thanks for the help guys. There's an idea I'm toying with.

Barnett has wrestled for New Japan
