jekyll316 | Posted on 04/19/06 at 06:30:31 Rick, Your "old school" rule set that I have only goes up to Year 2 Month 2, did you ever add anything new on to that? |
Rick Garrard | Posted on 04/21/06 at 04:42:29 I believe it actually goes to like show #60 in total. Good luck getting there though. |

triad4evr | Posted on 11/19/06 at 23:06:46 That's CapitAl with an "a", the one with the "o" is like Washington D.C., since we are being particular! (Sorry, couldn't resist!) |
Rick Garrard | Posted on 11/20/06 at 03:43:35(BUMP)Have you actually made it to the final week of the posted rules with a circuit? Very few that have started a circuit with the rules have made it to week 60. And several of those that have, by that point, have used it to launch their own ideas into their circuit. The rules sets I have created are merely guiding points to helping others become more creative with their own works. How exactly does one "finish" a rule set?I'm not sure on this one either. But I can say that I've never seen people ask over a year after the last rules posting to revive them with new rules. Thanks for the support on the rules. As for "finishing" them, there is no such thing, as these are just a starting point for someone wanting to do a circuit. |
HugeRockStar760 | Posted on 11/20/06 at 04:14:36 For my latest circuit, NWA World Championship Wrestling, I used your old school ruleset for the first eight weeks and then went without it. It's a good ruleset to launch your circuit through those first few weeks that might be the toughest of a circuit's existence, besides when you have writer's block. It's very useful and I highly recommend someone struggling with coming up with a circuit to keep interest in to use his ruleset. |
Rick Garrard | Posted on 11/20/06 at 04:20:17 thanks, HRS. Hope things worked out well those first 8 shows. There's a lot of good stuff you're gonna miss now... like the Rumble match in like week 49 I think it is. ;) But knowing you, you'll find a way to incorporate it somewhere else. |

Hope things worked out well those first 8 shows.Well, the first 8 cards were from the first time I tried running the circuit. So for this circuit, I just re-simulated those results and went from there. I've watched alot of the Jim Crockett Promotions (85-88) footage lately so I'm really into the wrestlers. Plus, it reminds me of being a kid again. I turned 27 recently. |
