TNM 3:16 update - August 31, 2006 (and Sept 2nd!)

LillaThrillaPosted on 08/31/06 at 06:13:00

Link to the update thread on my part of the Forums here.

I'm cross-posting this to general discussion for people who might not be paying attention to my section anymore (which I don't really blame them - no updates in 2 years will do that).

You know what would be crazy?  What about if I updated again a mere 2 days after the last update?  Jajajajaja!

Josh, doesn't 0catch try to auto-install adware when you go to their sites now?

Does it?  Heck if I know.  That sucks though.

So...can anyone recommend a free webhosting site that allows FTP?  And is better than GeoCities (which doesn't allow FTP anymore anyway unless you pay) or 0catch.

It's trying to download something when I go to your site.  My poor computer freaked out when I clicked your link.   :(
Rick GarrardPosted on 09/04/06 at 04:51:44

it started doing it on my 0catch site, which is why I figured it was doing it on your's too Josh.  Perhaps we both need an upgrade.  ;)

Indeed.

How's Angelfire these days?

Looks like an ad-bar at the top.  They have 20 MBs of space and you can FTP.

I just signed up for an account here: http://www.angelfire.com/planet/jliller/.  Can you check that and see if its spyware free?

Sooner or later I'm just going to have to fork over the cash to pay for ad-free webspace...

looks like all you get is a vonage popup ad at the moment along with the embedded adbar
