ABBY baby ABBY all the way :)
JustinPosted on 06/25/06 at 02:32:56

I'd go with Edge
Rick GarrardPosted on 06/25/06 at 07:52:40

I'd go with any of the following:

Bill Mulkey
Randy Mulkey
Mike Hogan
Pat Rose
Barry Horowitz
"Iron" Mike Sharpe
Lee Peak
Mike Thor
Italian Stallion
George South

Since you really should have at least one more jobber on the roster after all.  ;)

"The Unpredictable" Johnny Rodz or Black Bart are the only two possible choices.  I'd lean more towards Black Bart.
Rick GarrardPosted on 06/26/06 at 02:25:56

If you take Black Bart, you gotta have Wild Bill Irwin aka The Goon.
Perverted_IconPosted on 06/26/06 at 03:31:15

Outlaw Ron Bass?
Rick GarrardPosted on 06/26/06 at 04:00:55

Brutus the Barber Butcher Zodiac FruitBooty Dizzy Hogan Leslie Beefcake?
Perverted_IconPosted on 06/26/06 at 08:04:59

Obviously, this guy is really the only answer.

Why not just team Bill with his brother, Scott "Hog" Irwin instead?
Rick GarrardPosted on 06/26/06 at 14:24:45

HRS, it was Scott "Hogg" Irwin... and plus Bart and Bill had this on again off again feud throughout Texas where one week they'd fight then the next they tag up and then eventually they'd fight each other again.  Much like King Lawler and Bill Dundee in Memphis.

And all I can say is leave the Candyman out... he's my TNM gimmick.  ;)

Abby dude he is one of the most flexible wrestlers in history he can be a heel or face and can fued with pretty much anyone you want, you might wanna tweak his workrate a tad. :)
Perverted_IconPosted on 06/26/06 at 23:20:58

I don't tweak his workrate and still somehow have gotten pretty good match ratings out of Abby, though mostly in tag teams.  Random heel/Abby is always a fine tag team.
meetzorakPosted on 06/27/06 at 14:06:00

yea i have come to similar findings when it comes to abby usually Abby/Random hell vs. Hansen/Random Heel are 4 star matches

I'm currently running a promotion with Ron Bass as a top draw. Of course I got him using the 'm' key but him and Dick Slater make a good pairing.
ZedjaPosted on 06/28/06 at 16:40:33

Diamond Dallas Page

For some reason he always ends up in my roster.
meetzorakPosted on 06/29/06 at 11:30:25

elaborate on how to run a feds with the M key
Perverted_IconPosted on 06/29/06 at 23:07:54

Start a card.
Select match.  (Ex. "Singles Match")
Select one wrestler. (Ex. "Bill Goldberg")
Instead of selecting another wrestler, hit the 'm' key.
Hit the "home" key to bring the cursor to the top of your wrestler list -- it will show up automatically -- and then press the '+' key followed by 'enter'.
You will now have a mystery wrestler from your database face Bill Goldberg.  You may or may not be able to re-sign him after his short-term contract runs out.
Rick GarrardPosted on 06/30/06 at 05:36:41

and may Tsuki beat Bill Goldberg in your circuit.  ;)
VertigoPosted on 06/30/06 at 05:39:59

TNMRG rules. I'm currently running a fed with those rules (slightly modified and a little more elaborate than Rick's 10 YEAR FED!) and LOVING it!

You can find them at http://members.lycos.co.uk/tnmuk
Rick GarrardPosted on 06/30/06 at 05:51:53

I would concur with Vertigo on this one. IF you want to really push the limits of the "m"ystery wrestler option in TNM, this is the quickest and easiest way to do it.

edit:  And it was and still is the simplest ruleset ever written for TNM users.  Also it is one that causes a lot of creativity from the writer of the cards, because you never really know what roster members you are going to be working with at any given time.
Perverted_IconPosted on 06/30/06 at 11:51:43

I love the rg ruleset.  I'm halfway through my second year and have had a very, I don't know, eclectic ? list of Unified World Champions.
M. Misawa
Sabu
C. Daniels
Kane
C. Daniels
Yuji Nagata
R. Steamboat
M. Sanders
C. Daniels
S. Norton
T. Kawada
S. Norton
H. Tanahashi
American Dragon
E. Skipper
B. Windham

The way I'm playing it is I started off with 60 wrestlers in my database. All from the late 70's/early 80's. The date of my promotion is unspecified. But once year one is over, I'll take out about 10 wrestlers (we'll say they've retired from the business) out of the database and replace them with new wrestlers. I'll continue this for as many years as I can go... but yes... I love the TNMRG rules!
