How does Push weigh things exactly?

I had originally posted this in the Help forum, but then noticed that these questions seem to be answered in this forum more often, so I decided to post it here as well.  I'm still not sure which forum this question actually belongs in.  Anyway, here goes!

Here is the basic question.  If I do not check "Strict Pushes", how much weight is the Push value given when determining simmed results?

A bit deeper, though, and the question works kinda like this.  What are the mechanics of the Push value?  How is Push weighed into simmed results both with and without "Strict Pushes" checked?  Does Push have no weight if "Strict Pushes" is not checked, or does it just get less weight?

If strict pushes is unchecked, then a wrestler's push rating will only effect a wrestler's HP, how much heat they get, and how much damage their moves do.

I'm not sure of the calculations for heat or HP, but if I remember correctly move damage is randomly determined from a range of 1-Move Damage.  This is multiplied by the push ratio of the two wrestlers involved.

So, for example, Funaki (push 50) is facing Kurt Angle (push 100).  Funaki goes for a DDT.  A DDT has the potential to do up to 120 damage by default.  However, due to the push difference, Funaki's DDT's against Angle can do 120*(50/100) damage, or 60 at max.  Kurt easily shakes off the move, and counters with a DDT of his own.  Kurt can do up to 120*(100/50) damage, or 240 at max with a DDT on Funaki.  Kurt spikes Funaki with the DDT, likely dropping his health by 10% or so in one shot.

When strict pushes is checked, in addition to the above effects, the chance of a give pinfall or submission attempt to result in victory is also modified, although I'm not certain of the exact mechanic behind it.

Ah, thank you.  That's exactly what I was looking for.

The easiest way to not concern yourself over push ratings is to just run a booked circuit.
