Oliver a suggestion
doors11 | Posted on 09/02/03 at 16:59:06 I know that you can use tweakC or you can change you to all wrestlers can be be hired. But i was wondering if there is way to have a hot key to be able to insert any wrestler while you are making matches for a card. It would be to cool to be able to have some one come in for a surprise match.Or have someone like Adulah come in to try and mess with you champ for one card. I know their is a mystery wresler but that is chosin by TNM7se not us. Can the Mystery wrestler button inculde a way for us to choose the wrestler? Thanks |
rptDX316 | Posted on 09/02/03 at 18:53:35 If you press ~ on your keyboard, you can add unsigned wrestlers to your card on a one-off basis. |
doors11 | Posted on 09/02/03 at 20:01:16 Thank You for your help. I guess i need to jus get me a list of the hot keys for TNM7SE. That's pretty sad since i've had the game for 4 years now. Thanks Again |
LillaThrilla | Posted on 09/03/03 at 21:31:00 Shall we start a list of them? (which will end up posted on TNM 3:16). And lets of course limit this to the 'easter egg' hotkeys (which I think are all hanging around from FE, although there may be some new ones for SE too?) What: E When: end of match Why: gives an Iron Man match a 10 minute "overtime" period. or in a match that goes to a time limit draw, gives the match 5 more minutes. What: ~ When: when picking match participants, with the name of an unsigned wrestler you want to use selected Why: lets you use the wrestler for that match despite them not being under contract What: C When: end of match Why: continues the match, ignoring the finish that just happened. if the finish was a time limit, the match becomes no-time-limit What: - When: when you have a wrestler selected in either the hiring screen or when selecting match participants Why: gives you basic info on the wrestler - workrate, push, stamina, charisma, finisher, hometown, styles What: F When: any time during a match Why: 'fast forwards' through the rest of the match until you reach the end of the match What: T When: any time during a match Why: resets the match timer to 0:00:00 What: I When: when scheduling a match Why: gives you a list of current title holders to chose from, including those which are no longer under contract with the circuit Any more? |
Sauron | Posted on 09/04/03 at 01:38:37 This a good thread, I had no idea that ~ existed. Nor 'E', that will be helpful. Lets not forget the hands-free assigning of wrestlers to matches with the right and left arrow keys. Anything else? |
John Proulx | Posted on 09/04/03 at 04:16:54 'H' allows you to save a screen's worth of play-by-play as highlights in the results. |
LillaThrilla | Posted on 09/04/03 at 04:46:17 Something that I think is new for SE and probably not very widely known because I only recall seeing it mentioned once before by Oliver in regards to TweakCircSE (did I just find a big easter egg?). Basicly, any time you have a screen were it would be reasonable to do something to many wrestlers at once there's a neat thing you can do... What: SHIFT and + When: TweakCircSE edit contracts screen, delete wrestlers screen, export wrestlers screen (maybe others too?) Why: selects the current and all subsequent wrestlers in the list |
Dominus | Posted on 09/06/03 at 11:25:10What: TWhat does this do exactly? Like in the middle of a match does it restart the match or just resets the time? What purpose does that serv really? Will both wrestlers keep fighting with the same health and everything like nothing has happened? Here's one: What: R When: at the end of a match Why: restarts the match completely, reseting both wrestlers health and everything that had just happened. |
Dominus | Posted on 09/06/03 at 11:27:55 Oh yeah and this one: What: X When: at your's circuit main screen Why: Show's you who's Hot or Not in your circuit. (Heat Meters I think) |
Dominus | Posted on 09/06/03 at 11:30:06 I just found this in one of my old TNM folders. It's from TNM FE, but there might be some stuff you might not have known. * NEW! Press 'x' at the circuit menu and it brings up a list of "Who's HOT" in your circuit. Press 'e' and you view the results of any card in Notepad. Press 'c' at the end of a match to make that match continue. Press 'f' during a match to get straight to the finish. Press 'h' during a match to save that part as highlights. Hitting the "I" key to force a champion to defend their title after they have left your circuit. All non-singles titles can be defended in a War Games match. Great Muta lands on his feet if he misses a moonsault. Holding the shift key, the '~' key and then selecting your wrestler will hire a wrestler for a single card in normal mode. To have a real submission match, check 'assign match name' and type in "Submission Match". Press 'e' at the end of an Iron Man match to give the match a ten minute overtime period. Turn off Top-Rope eliminations: Make a battle royal match and select the participants, but DON'T CLICK FINISH. Then, click in the top right hand corner until you hear a beep (click about four times) and click finish. Pick the option of having pins and submissions count as eliminations and then you should be asked if you want over the top-rope eliminations to count. NOTE: Using this method with three wrestlers allows you to have a real triple threat match, with no tags. |

Oliver Copp | Posted on 09/08/03 at 18:20:44 Not to forget CTRL+R which will let you rename a card. |
alx | Posted on 03/20/06 at 23:38:57 Just had to search the forums and use Ctrl+R to rename a card, thought I'd say thanks and bump this old thread. ;D |
