In one of my primary circuits, Raven has begun to develop a heel faction.  His recent return to the Federation is with Kevin Thorn at his side to exact revenge on AMW who was responsible for his departure in the form of a neck injury.  I'm thinking of adding a tag team to round out the group for now and adding a fifth over the next 2 Months as it builds up to a 5 on 5 War Games match.

I rarely get to watch much more than the current national feds (wwe/cw, Raw and occasional TNA)  Who might you suggest as additional member that would work well with this faction?  I'm hoping to find some perhaps out of the box options for this.

Thanks,

MGD

Randy Orton.

...In all seriousness. A darker, brooding Randy could work well under the tutelage of Raven.

Edge is also a possible consideration, given his more serious roots.

Another direction could be London/Kendrick, revamped to be slightly more Ravenesque, if you're looking strictly for a stable of like-minded individuals.

Are you limiting it to guys who are currently on the wrestling scene or can it be anyone, ever, regardless of their status in wrestling/health/still being alive etc etc?

With the history of Raven's stables you could really go with ANYONE. Look what he did to the guys in TNA. In WCW he had Kidman and Saturn. In ECW he had Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie! Those guys were nothing like Raven.

I'd say just pick a couple of you guys you like (and would have fun booking) and use them. Kevin Thorne is appropriate just because of his current gimmick, but if you like someone who isn't an ideal Raven-ite, transform him yourself.

Trying to stay with Living Wrestlers, somewhat current, perhaps in the lesser used or from indy feds.

Edge is already in the fed and a legit Main Eventer, but I have considered him.  Especially after the storyline I saw here with the Jake/Edge/Raven in 3CW.

Randy is intriguing.  I will dwell on that, I wonder if I can get past the image of his ego and thinking that he could follow someone like Raven.

Thanks for the feedback so far.

Have Orton go on a losing streak... Hell, have Raven come out after the 4th or 5th loss, and start watching the matches, slightly distracting Orton.

Orton gets annoyed, Raven gets into his head, Orton challanges him, Raven wins and takes him "home" to the <insert stable name here>

No Orton for a few weeks/months, and then he shows up as Raven's mystery partner, acting brooding and depressed but totally under Raven's control.

<insert Raven's smirk and/or chuckle for atmosphere>

Thank you, thank you... it's nice to be noticed. I wish I could have finished that storyline, but, my mother board fried. But who knows? maybe someday I'll revisit it with my resurrected 3CW.

Some suggestions:

1. Abyss
2. Kane
3. Vampiro (could make an interesting tag partner for Thorn)
4. a darker more brooding version of someone like Snitsky or Tomko(may not win very many matches, but he will serve as sort of an enforcer that basically does a lot of interference.)

I've always wanted to see someone cheery and upbeat be a part of one of the brooding gangs... someone like one of the spirit squad.  :)  To quote something I watched last night about TV writing.. always try to put your characters in situations in which they would be the MOST uncomfortable as this makes for entertaining viewing.

There are a lot of great ideas here and I think that I am going to combine a few of these.  Abyss has been feuding with his former tag partner Umaga and on a massive unbooked losing streak, I am thinking that Raven can lure him in, and will start working to find Thorn a partner that will work well with him.

Thanks for all of the ideas so far.
