if you mean titles runs from people you didn't expect, I had an unbooked circuit a while a go where Lance Storm ended up winning the World title, causing a split between him and his then partner Alex Wright.  Storm held the title for about 7 months I think it was, making 6 unbooked defenses (he had several more defenses, but I booked the ones on the TV shows to save any title change for a PPV) all of which were against the guys I had intended to be the higher up singles guys.

The tag-team of Jack Evans and Jason Cross held the IWA Tag Team Belts for almost a year, defeating the likes of the Briscoes, the SATs and Hardy Boyz, among others, before being de-throned by (believe it or not), Matt Hardy and Lita!

The closest I came to this was a stable called the Bad Street Boys, consisting of Christian York, Joey Matthews (now Mercury), Shannon Moore, and Shane Helms.

First York/Matthews beat Do Fixer (Ryo Saito/Genki Horiguchi) for the Tag Team Titles.

Suddenly (and without warning) York leaves the company. Helms and Moore have a "friendly" match to see who gets to replace York. Moore wins. Jeff Hardy is brought in to replace York and keep the BSB at four members.

PPV: Matthews/Moore beat Do Fixer to retain the titles.

Suddenly Matthews leaves. Moore chooses Hardy as his partner.

PPV: Moore/Hardy beat Do Fixer to retain the titles.  :-/

What happens next?

A) Do Fixer have exhausted their title shots, and Moore/Hardy go on to face new opponents.
B) One of the members of Do Fixer gets fed up with Horiguchi/Saito and turns on them
C) Do Fixer finally win the Tag Titles
D) Shannon Moore leaves the company for no apparent reason

If you picked "D" your pattern recognition skills are good.

So the commissioner (channeling me) is getting fed up with this situation, and he books a match between Ryo Saito and Jeff Hardy. The winner will pick a new partner, and the loser will not get another shot.

Guess what... Do Fixer lost again!

But Jeff Hardy had enough of this foolishness too, and he turned on Helms to join Christopher Daniels' Prophecy.

So that is how my Tag Titles went from Christian York and Joey Matthews to Jeff Hardy and Chuck Liddell without anyone ever actually losing them.

And, yes, I was running unbooked.  :-/
