Various Contract Clauses

I apologize if this isn't in the proper place, but I wasn't 100% sure.

I know when most wrestlers mention clauses in their contracts, it usually pertains to Championship Rematches.  But I'm pretty sure their must be others... I'm just not sure what they could be.

Any ideas?

Usually when a wrestler or manager brings up that they have a rematch clause in their contract, it's usually just a storyline excuse to have another big one-on-one match between two draws.

Real wrestlers contract are just boring legal jargon that deal with how many dates will be worked, % of merchandise sales, copyright to gimmick names, travel costs, etc.

Kayfabe wrestling contracts (the ones with rematch clauses) are limited only by the writer's imagination.

Are you asking for examples of what kind of kayfabe contract clauses have been mentioned in the past? Or are you wondering what's actually in a wrestler's legally binding contract to a fed?

Ones that have been used in storylines.

Well, prior to Mick Foley's "retirement" match against Triple H, he signed about 700 pages of a document for a storyline contract for a video package that aired after Triple H beat him and put Foley into retirement.

By having THAT many pages signed Foley opened a bunch of storylines for the future that can be explained by just stating that it was one of the pages he signed back when he was the commissioner.
