I'm looking for information on NJPW's event schedule, thinking of running a Japanese circuit.

Do they have anything like Raw or Smackdown which happens every week? If so, what is it called?
And what about house shows?

I know they have PPV's but are there any that are set each year? I'm pretty sure they have a Tokyo Dome show and the G1 Climax each year. Any others?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

This is the best site for New Japan on the net, hands down.

Hope this is what you're after.

I can't tell what is what, all seem like PPV's to me. ;)

Maybe I'll go ask in their forum.

Well if you have a look in Results and Shedules on the left, you can see how all the upcoming and previous shows are set out. I suppse the best way too describe their system is a series of house shows (all of which arent televised), with a big show once a month (which always is)

NJPW has three regular TV shows, WPW on Asahi TV, SXW on ESPN/J SPORTS and a show on Samurai! TV. It's not like the WWE, TNA, WCW, etc though. They tape multiple shows on their tours. The big shows are usually WPW tapings and there is usually one other WPW taping on a tour, depending on how long it is. There are generally multiple Samurai! and SXW tapings too.

If you want to run an accurate(ish) NJPW type schedule, looking at results on Stu's page for multiple years will help.

EDIT: I would also note they have an internet subscription site called NJPW.TV which generally gets matches from certain tapings, and sometimes has exclusive shows (in fact, every Best of the Super Jr match was on NJPW.TV despite limited TV tapings.)
