Faces being dirty

FormulaFirebird91Posted on 10/02/05 at 10:38:33

Ok I'm running an unbooked circuit with Ricks old school rules and I have this problem with my face wrestlers CONSTANTLY chucking the refs out of the ring and getting DQ'd. lol  5 cards and Haas has cheated twice and he's a face! He chucked Timmy White out of the ring... then in another match he refused to release the Haas of Pain after his opponent reached the ropes. It's kind of funny I just wondered if anyone else has had a problem with this? Not that it's really a problem. It's interesting to come up with reasons storyline wise as to why they are donig it. Its just the frequency of it seems to be quite high. I should go back and check how much it's happened. It seems to always be the faces though. I don't think I've had a heel cheat yet. lol

If you have tweak circ, you can alter the probability of a face wrestler attacking a referee. Go into ReFeree Options and enter at least 200 in field 1 and 4. That prevents the wrestler from attacking the referee too often. Haas not releasing the Haas of Pain isn't something you can prevent, but if you can't think of a storyline solution to it, just press the 'C' button to continue the match.

Thanks Rey. I do have TweakCirc. Guess I didn't think to check that. That will be a help. Haas not releasing the Haas of pain was kind of cool I thought and it sort of made sense cuz he had major heat with who he was wrestling anyway so it made more sense so I didn't need to hit the c key. But thanks for the advice.

You could always turn the offending wrestler heel.  :)  I've done it many times because of stuff like this.

lol The thing about Haas is I had turned him face. Orton and he were tagging and Haas got beat quickly in a match like in a minute or so....  so I had Orton turn on him.  I compensated by turning face Ultimate Warrior to Heel (It was during the Tag Tourney and Warriors partner was poor as well). Though if Haas keeps this crap up I may have to turn him back heel. lol I did make it so the tossing the ref over the rope won't happen as much.  On week 8 and since week 5 he's only interfered by tripping up a Heel in another match. So I think I have it cured so far. lol

By the way Rick i know you've heard it a million times on here but what's one more... the Old School rules are a blast and I really apreciate the work you put into them.

Thanks.  It's just awesome knowing that over a year after I began writing them, that they are still being used to start circuits.  Nothing says "thanks" better than people continuing to use your product.  :)  And if you are only at week 8, just wait until you get to week 48... you'll love them.

Although it wasn't in my ROSR circuit (it was PWF), I had a vanilla flyer guy cheat like crazy out of nowhere in a battle royal for a title shot.  I went with the heel turn big time and was happy. :)
