Old-School Rulesets?

BoomerPosted on 08/14/05 at 22:18:18

I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a good variety of rulesets? Especially ones geared more towards the 80's and/or early 90's WWF/E? Thanks

There aren't all that terribly many around.  Josh Liller's site has most of them. (http://tnm316.ontheweb.nu/)

Critic's ROH Rules and MattHarm's TNA rules can be found on the boards.  The only ruleset specifically geared towards that era is Rick's Old School Rules which can be found on Liller's site.

as for my Old School Rules Set, you can find all 60 weeks of it right here in the forums by searching for "Old School" and setting it to the last 365 days I do believe.  (haven't checked lately) or it is available without posted clarifications on Liller's website as mentioned above.

And while mine is supposedly geared toward a more old school approach, it can be used with current talents as well, but was created using characters of the 80s.  And my circuits BCW and now CW both have been created using this rules set, as well as a couple other folks here that posted their OSRules circuits.

You may also want to check out the PWWTNM set that the late Derek Thorell created for an old school feel.

What's a ruleset

a tool that helps guide your TNM circuit.  You book by following the rules and then you can fill in the blanks with story and such.  If you find that you have a hard time with booking a circuit on your own they can be very usefull.
