My Arena 2.0

RyanSolbergPosted on 04/10/05 at 05:56:09

Well I finished my new arena plugin today. I took a lot in consideration when making it. Now when you do statistics these things play a factor.

1. Recent Match/Card ratings(If your putting on 5 star matches all the time, you have more of a chance to sell out)
2.Your advertisement(If you do no advertisement, you wonn't sell out. More advertisement the better)
3.Your league(If your classed as a Indy League and your card is in a Major arena, there's no way you'll sell out. But if your a Major League in an Indy Arena, you'll sell out almost everytime)
4.Hometown(For Example ECW always does better in Philly)
5.Main Arena(ECW always does better in the ECW Arena and I would say WWE and Madison Square Gardens)

For ratings for TV and PPV;
1. If you have a national deal it uses the real population of your based country when doing the viewers
2. Local was a little difficult but I decided to use the based arena capacity and do a little match to figure out the local population then do the viewers from that.
3. PPVs are always national in your based country for viewer stats.
4. Also worked out that when it says buyrate is 2% it is counting households not individuals so when I estimate viewers I took in the fact that theres about 3 people per household.

New Feature, Financial Earnings.
1.Calculates ticket sales $
2.Calculates Mechendise sales $
3.Calculates PPV sales $
It only does the sales $, any deductions you will have to do yourself.

I also moved the statics as a log. Her's some examples.

Hey Ryan, That sounds like a great plugin. I need to ask, How's your Backstage GM plugin coming along & when is it coming out? E-mail me or let me know on this post about it.
RyanSolbergPosted on 04/17/05 at 06:24:40

Hey all,
My arena plugs should be releasd this week. About  updated arenas, I'm looking for someone to do that for me. My  GM plug will be another couple of weeks.
CarlzillaPosted on 04/17/05 at 22:37:54

I still have almost all the japanese arena's updated, but then work got really really hectic, and I haven't really been able to work on it much. I'd be happy to post it on the boards and at your site when I complete it, which should be shortly after you release the plug-in.
RyanSolbergPosted on 04/18/05 at 04:33:56

cool, I should be able to add a couple more that you may not have considering I live in Japan. Next month I'm going to a New Japan House show in Numazu. :)
CarlzillaPosted on 04/18/05 at 09:08:17

Lucky.

My list is pretty comprehensive, but yeah since I live in New Mexico, and you live in Japan, you'll probably be able to add a few.
SuperstarJimiCPosted on 04/27/05 at 00:46:05

I got starting to make a website for the school I work for and it took all my time but I since it's golden week in Japan(About a weeks worth of national holidays in a row) I sat down and finished it and just sent it to Oliver for the INFs so as soon as I here back from him I'll release it.
