Tournaments?

convoy71Posted on 01/19/05 at 21:36:24

I was going reading about the improvements in TNM7. Last time I looked at the website, TNM7 has just come out. Unless, I there is no plug in or something for it, are tournaments available in TNM7 2nd edition.

Yeah.  Schedule a new card and one of the options will be Schedule Tournament.

Yes, but unless I'm mistaken, you have to run the card in one whole card.  Which is... kind of annoying.

T'would be nice to have them scheduled over a set number of cards.

*Note: If there is a way to do this, please feel free to tell me how and slap me.*

The only way to do it is just to book the matches individually and say "this is a first round match". If you want to do two rounds in one show then you'll have to use the winner vs winner option.

Otherwise no, you can't do like you can Round Robins and schedule the tournament then do bits at a time.

I know that much, I'm just too lazy to write down all the people in the tournaments and figure out who faces who next.

I expect Oliver to do all the work for me.  ;)

That's what the circuit notes feature is there for. A decent circuit takes at least a little work.

Hell, the document I have with notes for GCW is over 10 pages, easy.

And I've already killed one entire notebook with booking notes for CW, as I am now starting on notebook #2.

(and no.. CW isn't dead before anyone asks)

There currently is no way to strech regular tournaments out over several cards.

Whenever I want to do this, I do the first-round matches on one card and then set up a tournament on the second card for the second, third and so on round matches.
