DOS vs Windows

Hey everyone... I'm new to this TNM... and maybe getting confused by the plugins screens, but, is the actual WRESTLING part (circuits, matches, running matches) is that all in DOS only?  Or is it in a Windows based enviroment?  In other words, is this game windows based or DOS based but runs in windows enviroment.

The latter. DOS in Windows.

It is DOS, though many of the newer plugins are Windows-based.
