TNM Role Models...

I'm curious as to who (if anyone) the new comers to TNM (and the regs) look up to the most in the TNM community (besides Oliver, we know we all worship the ground he walks on for making TNM in the first place) or think is the most influential.

I think I'm at the point where I can consider myself a 'regular' in the TNM community.  Personally the person I think I 'look up to' the most in Snabbit888.  I've always admired Ryan's TNM ethic and GCW is just, in my humble opinion, the cat's ass.  I mean, there are other great circuits too, but Ryan's GCW is just one that I've always wanted my circuits to be like.

As far as over all influence, I think Rick Garrard.  I think a lot of people can agree that Rick's Old School Rules has helped a lot of circuits pop up.  It seems popularity of the rules is starting to wain a bit now that it's been out for a while, though could spark back up once he gets CW to the point where new rules are released.  I still think that it's a great tool to help new comers start circuits and help them sort of "get into" the writing aspect of it to where they feel comfortable to write and book their own circuits.

I have to say, I'm not hugely known here, but any time I've stepped into the #tnm ring, or needed help with ideas or anything, Rick Garrard's been there. And the sad part is, I HATE rulesets, something he's most credited for. Also, Bill Lentz has always been a good guy to me.

As far as people I've always gotten along with, Rey619 and Carlzilla have been the only two I've ever really talked to in a general world, not just with TNM and Wrestling. Both guys are great, maybe a little messed up in the head, and both write some amazing stuff in their time. Also, most of the guys who were in IWA, WWA or now GWA have always been very cool in my book.

when i think of tnm, i still think of the old mailing list.  bihari, jose, smwa, tony norris, kodiak marmoset, GLW x20 garrard....thats the community i always think of.  i sure dont miss the clogged mailbox though.

Messed up in my head???
;)

I have to pitch in my vote to Rick Garrard, Critic of the Dawn and Snabbitt, as they are the three posters I think are the best and most respected around here. And, of course Pulsar who has promised to help me with names of moves if I ever decide to go back to making exports  ;)

And of course CarlZilla who (like Pulsar) is always game for an Umbrella Fed.
