Wrestler heat

Snabbit888Posted on 11/11/04 at 00:54:11

As anyone ever had a wrestler get to a heat level of 10 before?  Not in a match, but overall in the circuit. If I remember correctly, Oliver said if a wrestler gets a heat of 10, it's supposed to signify a rare breed of over, i.e. Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock, etc.  I'm sure it's happened before, but I have never had it happen.  Anybody?

I've never had someone with a heat of 10 (but then again, I've never had a ***** match either). However, Batista has a heat of 2... that's quite low..

The only way I've ever gotten a 10 in heat is by setting it there myself.  Generally what I do is give my workers a chance of gaining heat when they win a title - 50% if it's the main singles title, and 1 in 6 if it's a lesser title.  This has bumped a few workers up into the 10 level, but interestingly, one of them that got bumped up fell back down to 9 after a few months.

Jerry Lynn right now for me.

I've never checked until now, and wow, I've got a ton at 9.

Amusingly, Demolition and A-Train are all at 1 as well.

I've never had anyone down to 1 either... I've had a couple of 2's, but that's about it.

How do you check heat levels?
91Posted on 11/11/04 at 23:30:23

In Tweakcirc, you can check (and edit) wrestlers heat values.

The highest heat ratings I have is for Dusty Rhodes and James Storm, their alliance has helped raise them to an 8.

I've got 13 at 9 in CW right now.

And even the Russians aren't doing as poorly as you all would think seeing how they are/were the job squad.  Ivan Koloff has an 8 right now, while Nikita is a 9.

Perhaps this is yet another "reward" for consistent booking?

I really hope I can get a couple guys into that 10 level.  :)

I get tons of 9s but never a 10.
