Cruiserweight cutoff weights
NormanTharxFan | Posted on 06/02/04 at 00:56:30 What do you use as your maximum weight for cruiserweights? My cutoff depends on the circuit I am using. In one of my circuits I have a cutoff of 220 pounds. In another I have a cutoff of 225, it all depends on your tastes of course. Also, you know during a circuit when you bring up a wrestler's mini-profile if you can call it that, I think the wrestlers weight and finisher should be added into that profile in a future tnm7. |
SuperstarJimiC | Posted on 07/16/04 at 00:54:49 I disagree with you. I think that the cutoff weight for cruiserweights should be 225 pounds. |
91 | Posted on 07/16/04 at 01:07:55 Well, in wrestling terms it's defined as 225, but since boxing, from where the name came from in the first place, places it as 190, whilst anyone weighing 225 would be a super heavyweight. On that basis, I'd say that if someone wanted, they could chop and change their cut-off points for weight classes as they pleased. For the record, I still use the standard 225. |
SuperstarJimiC | Posted on 07/16/04 at 01:18:43 Don't worry, I was trying to do something on this discussion file. I'm not on there that often. What do you think of my ECW post & what did you think of my posts on your NWWJ file? Let me know. & if you want to jump in on the ECW in the Works post. Then feel free. |
cerberos | Posted on 07/16/04 at 02:19:18 Personally I dont usually use a cruiserweight title because it is hard to stay to the weight limit, atleast for me. I always forget and have someone just over win the title. And you can only do the Horowitz/Eddie Gilbert angle from the GWF so often (anyone else know what I am talking about?). |
Rick Garrard | Posted on 07/16/04 at 07:27:02 I might just have that tape called the "Wins of The Winner" for only $49.95 somewhere. ;) The one that the announcers kept hyping as the only good 30 seconds of Horowitz's career. ;) funny stuff. And the Cartel was quite the stable. Scotty The Body, Rip Rogers, Cactus Jack, and Mahkan Singh. |
The Phantom | Posted on 07/16/04 at 15:16:44 My weight is 240 because I don't have a lot under 225. I could use a lot of cruiserweight's that I've never heard of, but I wouldn't know how to use them as I've never seen them. |
darkmime | Posted on 07/16/04 at 19:16:43 I usually go with 230, but then I let some exceptions go by, I mean how can you leave La Parka out? ;) |
