Why Do People Do These Things?

Job Van DamPosted on 06/13/04 at 19:16:02

I can admit, cloning moves is good to a certain point, but when people clone moves like the power bomb, and call it the powerbomb, what the hell is the point of that?

You can also see some fake bullcrap moves like ZZZ Demon Clutches and what the fuck ever. I know people can have imaginations and stuff, but they should at least provide info on what these moves actually are when they are creating an export. If the move is possible, I don't see a problem with it, like I created the double underhook sitdown faceslam, which would be sort of a cross between the X-Factor and the Pedigree, which I think would be possible. But when people create moves like say for an example, a fireman's carry into a tiger driver, which would not be possible, because how would you be able to underhook the arms? It's just common logic. Another problem I have although I mentioned it before in this post, is people going haywire with move creation and not stopping to think if they were real or not. I admit I have created moves, most of them are fantasy, but very possible like (side superplex, top-rope Doctor Bomb, Power Superplex, top-rope tiger driver, superplex into a seated power bomb (kind of a top-rope Orange crush bomb), and a gutwrench dominator to name a few. I have also Created the Crippler Crossface, because I'm sorry, The Crippler Crossface is not the STF, there's no stepover toehold. I also created the White Hot Death, which is an off-the-shoulder version of the Rock Bottom (but that's a real move too, I've seen it!) The Spinal Tap Spinebuster move is also a pretty cool move (its a bearhug turned into a spinebuster slam or bomb just before tapping!!!!

Yeah, the double underhook sitdown faceslam is possible. It is also Chris Daniel's finisher the Angel Wings.

Well going by what TNM7 says you can counter a huracanrana with a tiger driver so who knows ;D  Close to that would be a Towerhacker Powerbomb (Torture Rack into a sitdown powerbomb)

Top-Rope tiger driver is possible and done by Mitsuharu Misawa on occasion (as me and my friends would say, when he hits the super tiger driver, i fill the cup)

I think I may have seen a top-rope doctorbomb before... think being the key word since it is late. :)  Wouldn't be that hard, just be like a super powerbomb or super tiger driver (or to pronounce it correctly, "TAIGAH DURAIBAAAAAAAAAH!!!" :D)

What would a gutwrench dominator be... since a dominator starts off in a gutwrench anyway...

Top-rope Orange Crush might be a bit difficult (but I suppose if anyone can do it, it'd be Kobashi)

Power superplex... you mean like a super jackhammer?  I could see that if you were standing on the 2nd rope more than if both men were on the top-rope I think.

Oh, wanna know some great & realistic moves you should add to your database?  Especially for puro moves?  Dragon Superplex & Tiger Superplex... those moves friggin' rock.  In fact they rock so hard I had to make the text glow to fully illustrate their rockitude. ;D (lol, I need sleep)

Yeah, I never got the countering a 'rana with a Tiger Driver myself, but who knows?

Super Orange Crush would require insane strength and balance both. Really not sure if that one would work.

I just chaged the rana counter to a sitdown powerbomb, I think that is more appropriate.

A whole lot more appropraite.

I just left it... I think it's cause I'm... whats the word... lazy.  lol.  It's amusing whenever I see it because I suddenly think of a kinnikuman-esque situation where they go for the huracanrana and then the victim counters if by flipping around so their both in mid-air, then positioning them for the tiger driver (still in mid-air mind you) and then execute the move... Misawa's good... but I dunno if he's floating tiger driver good ;D

Maybe, maybe not. But AJ Styles is that good. He's still the only guy that if you blink will be ten feet away from where he was a second ago. Way...too...fast.

speaking of tiger drivers, imagine a top-rope version of the tiger driver'91!

To be perfectly honest, the "huracanrana" was added by a trusted third party :)

I've seen a fireman's carry countered with a tiger driver by Scott Steiner on Hiroshi Hase.

Oliver, I was not talking about tiger driver countering a fireman's carry , I was talking about a fireman's carry- tiger driver combination, totally different (fireman's carry into a tiger driver (a fireman's tiger driver the move was called in the export I downloaded)

Sorry, misread you.
