Stable Ideas

I was wondering what some of everyone's favorite stable ideas in their TNM feds have been. I am currently running a circuit and it is well into the second half of the first year and i have had quite a number of solid pairings but nothing extraordinary. Here are my favorite from past feds and the current one i am running.

I randomly picked opening rosters and I recieved Brian Lee managed by Father James Mitchell. I started my own version of The New Church Disciples and gave him a random teammate the next week. It turned into A-Train. That combination won the tag titles in just 3 weeks. Through time they gained the assistance of E.Z. Money, Keiji Muto, and Vader.

They Feuded with Rick Steiner, so Steiner restarted The Varsity Club. The First to run in and save Steiner from a vicious tail whopping was Chuck Palumbo. They were later joined by "Sugar" Shane Helms, and during a tag match against the Thrillseekers, Lance Storm turned on Chris Jericho and joined the squad.

Then there was my old WCW circuit. I started off with the rosters similar to when Hall and Nash first started the invasion. I made my own NWO. They were later joined by Chris Jericho, Tito Santana, Joey Matthews, and Mike Sanders. Tito later left WCW for a personal reason, only to return to help Perry Saturn fend off the NWO.

Well those were just a few of mine. I am curious as to what the rest of you came up with.

One of my favorites that I originally borrowed from a friend of mine that never got to fully come to fruition was a comedy stable, the Italian Clown Mafia.  Little Guido as Guido The Clown, Tom brandi as Mario The Clown... it was a fun little gimmick.

The original Sensationals in my previous GCW was good as well, with Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Justin Credible, and Booker T who turned on The Rock so he'd win the World Title was fun.

Also, the Extremists in the old GLW.  Led my Lance Storm, the stable included Ace Darling and Devon Storm (multiple time tag champs), Rik Ratchet, Toshiaki Kawada, and Bob Holly.

All my recent big stables seem to be variations on a theme. When I ran HCW, the big feud was Team Corino (Corino, Xavier, Michael Shane, and Frank Shamrock) against the Underground (Jimmy Rave, Spanky, Dixie, and Shark Boy).

Then in PW-RAGE, I brought back Team Corino, this time with Corino at the helm, Trent Acid as the 'noble' anti-hero of the group who kept wanting to turn face, Johnny Kashmere as Acid's tag partner and Corino's lackey, and Joey Matthews as the punk who finally realized he needed help.

Other than that, I ran a puro fed once as part of a superleague. But I came in late and ended up getting most of the guys from another fed in the league that'd shut down. My main feud ended up being the heel team of nWo Japan, consisting of Chono, Tenzan, and Nagata, along with their ally, a heel monster Goldberg. The storyline was Goldberg had been the closed fed's World champion, and was bitter because he wasn't awarded the title in the new fed. These four feuded with Kurt Angle, Stan Hansen, and Misawa.
