How should a succesful TNM circut be run?

Richard Garcia JrPosted on 05/24/04 at 03:06:41

I have been playing TNM for about 6 years now. Each time I get away from it, I tell myself I am going to start a very sucessful circut that I am going to maintain, and take it up to the year 2013 in TNM years or such.

Anyways, my question is how should a run a succesful circut to keep myself and my readers intrested. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I think the biggest thing that gets overlooked is that people who do circuits for public viewing often get too wrapped up in getting feedback and what others think.  Getting feedback is fun, don't get me wrong, but ultimately, people can tell you you're doing a great job, but if you don't enjoy the angles you're doing or what you're writing, you won't want to keep going.

So the biggest key to running a good circuit for me is write it for you first, your readers second.  If the enjoyment you get from the circuit is evident in the writing, people will come to it.

I would concur with Snabbit's thoughts.  Write for yourself first.  If you enjoy it, chances are others will.

Having said that, I tend to do certain things in my publicly posted feds for myself, while other things I do based on reactions from my readers.
