TNM Rules Sheets

Do you think TNM Rule sheets, like the old rules from JLiller's website, will ever make a comeback? I always found those useful. Maybe an old school TNM Rules, using only legends like the old NWA would be a good start.

I'm having trouble sticking with circuits lately. I want to run the NWA territory system, with 4 circuits, using perhaps a mixture of today's stars and old school stars, but that is too much work. Blah.  Then even if I did that, certain people, who shall go nameless (He's a little too much into Puro), would go on and on about how "that's not realistic blah blah blah."

I dunno about any rule systems or whatever, but run the Circuits how you see fit.  I, personally, would love to run a circuit, or a number or circuits, with wrestlers in their prime.  Old, dead, new, young, Japanese, American, whatever...  that's the POINT of such a thing as TNM7, I'd think.  Chris Benoit vs. Bret Hart in their primes?  Yes, please.  Ric Flair vs. Keiji Muto in their primes?  MMM, MMM!  Ultimate Warrior vs. Brock Lesnar in their primes?  Only if Brock really hurts Warrior.

With this sort of program, skies the limit, and reality has no place anywhere near it.  The *real* limitations here come in two places A) your imagination and B) the limitations of the program itself.

Be damned the expectations and desires of other people.  Let them run their own circuits "realistically" or however it is that appeals to their desires, because in the end, they don't have any say, whatsoever, of how you run yours.

Seeing how I authored a couple of the sets over on Josh Liller's site, I can confirm that I am currently working a NEW set geared toward a more "old school" feel.

I am using my current circuit "Beta Championship Wrestling" as a testing ground for them.  I should have the rules for the first month done sometime within the next day or so.  Should be an interesting venture down the long illustrious aisle.  :)

Awesome.  Can't wait to try them out.
