TNM Year-End Awards 2003

Oliver CoppPosted on 11/30/03 at 09:37:20

The TNM Year-End Awards 2003 will be open for voting commencing December 5.

You can already visit the page here:

http://www.tnm7.de/cgi-bin/tnmcms.cgi?action=si&module=awards&layout=index

If you vote in any categories now, these votes won't count. However, you'll help fill the nomination list, so if there's anybody or anything particular you'd like to see nominated somewhere, feel free.

It doesn't matter if you put it in first, second or third place as all will be added to the list the same way.

Thanks,

Oliver

You forgot a category, sir.  Most Improved Wrestler of the Year.
Oliver CoppPosted on 12/01/03 at 01:27:43

Thank you, Sir. I'm adding it right now.

Gonna add best/worst commentator, or just stick to best/worst non-wrestler?

Maybe even split it into color and PBP? Us indy fans will know who to vote for, at least...

*gets a premenition that JR and Lawler will both win and lose both*  ;D

Do the awards feature e-wrestling?
ZerostarPosted on 12/01/03 at 16:02:52

How about Best/Worst Stable and Best/Worst Angle too?
Oliver CoppPosted on 12/01/03 at 22:06:21

The thing is: splitting PBP and color isn't all that sensible anymore given the lack of depth of on-air wrestling commentators.

I could add best and worst for commentators, though.

Best/worst angle is a good idea as well.

No e-wrestling in the awards IMO.

If I want to nominate indy shows for show of the year, where should I put it under? PWG, RevPro, CZW to name a few put out some outstanding shows even better than some WWE PPVs.
Oliver CoppPosted on 12/03/03 at 07:23:13

You'd put that into the Best/Worst PPV category which I'll rename to Best/Worst Major Show.

I had planned to name it Best/Worst Big Show but that would have implied something totally different ;)

I don't know if this should be on it but just a suggestion:

Best Wrestling Website: We heard about the Observer, Torch, 411 but there are hundreds of sites all over the net. This range from sites of news, wrestlers, and fansites like CZWFans.com

Best/Worst Wrestling Columnist: I know I'm opening a huge can of worms (and risking "lawsuits" from the paranoids) but there been rash of columnists all over the net ranging from good to bad. It can be anyone on/with a wrestling website (even HTM and Tom Zenk).
