TNM 7 Visualizer To Be Released Tonight

Oliver CoppPosted on 10/05/03 at 19:16:38

Thanks to everybody for their patience and to those who expressed their concern over the reasons behind the delay.

My father is doing much better and is no longer in critical condition. Thank you to all of you!

That said, the Visualizer will be released tonight. It went to the testers two days ago, no problems were reported so it's a go.

It'll come in the form of a new TNM 7 SE installation which you need to install over your current one to have it update it with the latest program files.

The Visualizer Image Wizard plugin will also be released at the same time.

Thank you again for your patience.

Hi Oliver,

Both the wizard and the visualizer work great, kudos to you!

My questions are these:

1) Is there any way to make the visualizer window bigger?

2) Is there any way to change the background from the rainbow to something else?

Thanks!

3) Is there anyway to FORCE the Visualizer to use a Tag Team image as opposed to the individual images of the two wrestlers? (I have images set for Sabu, RVD, and Sabu/RVD the tag team... No matter how I try, it always uses Sabu's image and RVD's image, not the combo)
Oliver CoppPosted on 10/08/03 at 00:43:04

It *should* use the tag team image only... unless for Battle Royals and Elimination Matches, of course.

Maybe you'd want to send me your INDEX.DAT file from the MEDIA folder so I can see where the problem lies.

Thanks!

1) To make it bigger... hmmm... I suppose I could make an option for that. Should it be configurable via TNM?
2) "Something else" meaning? Please let me know, shouldn't be a problem.
SauronPosted on 10/08/03 at 01:02:10

1) Configurable through TNM would be neat, yes. I don't have the biggest screen so the names are small for me, and I can't full screen if I want to see everything at once.

2) Something else meaning, like, a black background, or maybe a different pattern. Something other than that eye-piercing rainbow. :)

Thanks Oliver.

I'm sorry, apparently the download doesn't include the gradients folder :-/

Please create a folder called GRADIENTS inside the MEDIA folder.

Then download http://www.tnm7.com/downloads/gradients.zip and unzip its contents to the MEDIA\GRADIENTS folder.

BTW, I have just updated the install file to supply basic gradients. My bad, sorry.

Sweet - I'll check that out. :)

There seems to be a problem when a permanent tag team, with a group picture and a manager, takes on a team with separate pictures.  Like, if the Basham Brothers have a picture representing the team, the picture of Shaniqua (as manager) appears in the corner of their picture, and also the picture of one of the opponents.

In another case, I had the Basham Brothers (with tag team photo) vs the A.P.A. (with individual photos).  A.P.A. came out first.  For some reason, in this case, a HUGE picture of Shaniqua appeared in the upper left corner of the visualizer window.  She was also in the corner of the Bashams' tag picture, but I don't know if she was in Faarooq's picture too because he was completely blocked out by the big Shaniqua pic.

I'll check that out, thank you :-)
Oliver CoppPosted on 10/26/03 at 12:03:08

Got it. This only happens when the wrestlers in the team don't have images assigned.

Unzip this file in your PROGRAM folder: http://www.tnm7.com/downloads/gspatch.zip

Please make sure that neither TNMGS.EXE nor TNM7SE are running at the time you unzip.

Does it do the trick for you?

Hey Olli haven't ordered SE yet but I was wondernig if the Visulaizer can be used for FE also. thanks!
Oliver CoppPosted on 10/27/03 at 07:05:44

It can't, sorry. TNM 7 FE doesn't know how to "feed" the Visualizer.
