Realistic Elimination Chamber Timing
rptDX316 | Posted on 08/24/03 at 15:25:35 Dunno if this is common knowledge or not, but I thought I'd let other people know just in case. If you want to hold an Elimination Chamber match with the correct 5-minute intervals between new participants entering, all you need to do is set the Royal Rumble entry time to 300 seconds. Following this, a new participant will enter the Chamber every 5 minutes, instead of every 2. Of course, don't forget to switch it back to two minutes afterwards, if you wish to hold a realistic Royal Rumble! |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 08/24/03 at 16:17:32 There's an even easier and better way of doing this :-) Just open the file TNM.CNF in your circuit in a text editor of your choice (e.g. Notepad) and add the following line at the end: EliminationChamberPeriods=300 or whatever length in seconds you want them to have :-) |
rptDX316 | Posted on 08/24/03 at 18:20:14 Even better! Thanks 8) |
doors11 | Posted on 08/25/03 at 04:22:46 Oliver, What if you don't have the file TNM.CNF in your circuit? I check all three of my circuits and none of them have that file in it. |
rptDX316 | Posted on 08/25/03 at 14:15:29 Kind of ironic that, after posting this topic, the buggers go and change the entry time limit ;D |
Dominus | Posted on 08/25/03 at 21:24:46 It's not in the circuit folders, it's in the main folder. What was the time limit that SummerSlam used? |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 08/25/03 at 21:29:26 Dominus - there is ANOTHER one in the main TNM 7 SE folder :-/ The changes have to be made to the TNM.CNF in the circuit folder and nowhere else, otherwise it won't be picked up. Nuff said ;-) |
rptDX316 | Posted on 08/25/03 at 22:33:19 The Summerslam time limit was 3 minutes between entries. Just another reason why the Survivor Series EC was soooooo much better than the Summerslam debacle. |
Dominus | Posted on 08/26/03 at 05:48:14 Ok so the TNM.CNF in the main folder is not the one I use? Ooops. I'll have to check that then. |
Jkeats | Posted on 08/26/03 at 20:22:13 I opened the TNM.cnf file in Wordpad (the one in my circuit) and it came up all scrambled. Is there a way to decode it? |
rptDX316 | Posted on 08/26/03 at 23:00:20 It's meant to come up scrambled. I just added the line to the bottom of the file and Bob was my proverbial uncle. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 08/27/03 at 07:41:38 John, the lines starting with "_" are encrypted lines. Just add yours in plain text and they'll be added to the encryption. You can then edit what you added via TweakCirc SE's "Browse TNM.CNF" button. |
Fighter_Hayabusa | Posted on 08/27/03 at 15:23:24 When starting new feds, can I copy and paste this tnm.cnf? |
leftsaidfred | Posted on 08/27/03 at 18:20:29 Oliver - Is it plausible that in the future, the time limit for people to enter the Elimination Chamber will be modified like the other match time limits? |
Carlzilla | Posted on 08/27/03 at 19:38:52 You can cut and paste the TNM.CNF, I used to do that to get the Easter Eggs unlocked in each circut before it was made global. |

For the time being, if you've added it to TNM.CNF once, you can edit it via the "Browse TNM.CNF" button in TweakCirc. |
vwmake7upyourswv | Posted on 10/10/03 at 05:38:51 disregard post... I figured it out myself |
