Just to be clear

Just to be clear on somethings...

#1 - In TNM when I sign a wrestler to 'x' amount of cards.  The original premise was for how many months I wanted to sign that wrestler right?  Because some people seem to think that it's based on weeks.  But current wrestling contracts seem to be be for so many months or even years, not weeks.  But then again you can choose what ever you like and alter it with the TweakCirc, I just wanted to know what the original premise was on how long 1 Card was.

#2 - If I delete all the foreign objects in my database, will my TNM freeze or anything, whenever a foreign object would be used?  Because like I've peeved before, refs don't DQ when a wrestler uses a foreign object and I've tried to turn them off with TweakCirc, but that doesn't even work.

I think it is weeks. Read the section about card multiplier in the TNMSe manual, and you'll see.

Well there is this in the Features Section of TNM SE!

Hiring and contracts
Card multipliers - contracts in TNM 7 usually run for up to 52 cards; many users prefer to run more than one card per month; the card multiplier indicates how many cards are run every month; a 52-card contract will become a contract for 260 cards if the card multiplier is set to 5 cards per month.
Customize quitting, giving notice - will it happen only once per month of cards or on every card ?

Only makes sense, because why would anyone sign a wrestler for a maximum of 1 year!?!?!?!  52 Months or just over 4 Years sounds a little bit better....

So WWE would have a card multiplier of 17? Smackdown, Raw, Heat & Velocity once a week each, plus a PPV... I guess you're right.. could've explained why Goldberg broke his ankle and was sidelined for 8 cards..

The concept doesn't seem to be as clear as it should be.

TNM usually signs wrestlers to contracts for a number of cards, i.e. shows.

For SE, a "Card Multiplier" was introduced. Why? Because people kept complaining that 52 cards (or 99 with TweakCirc) were too few.

That's why when using the "Card Multiplier" feature, one card will be deducted from your wrestler's contract only every X cards.

For example, if you set it to 2, it will only deduct one match from his contract every other card.

Deleting all foreign objects shouldn't do any harm judging from the code.
