Belt Shots

JkeatsPosted on 08/26/03 at 20:24:50

I've held about 30 cards overall in two circuits and have yet to see a champion use a belt shot in a match.  Is this something that needs to be unlocked or checked somewhere?  Can the instances where this happens be increased like ref bumps and injuries?

Thanks for any help!

No, this is something that happens rarely and only with heel wrestlers. You need the combination heel champion + referee down + desperate situation for it to occur.

I for one am happy that it happens rarely.  I'm sick of seeing it in EVERY title match in WWE.

I had it occur in a match with Rob Vam Dam vs The Big Show for the hardcore title.Rob Is The Hardcore Champion.Vam Dam hit The Big Show with the belt and It said"it nearly took his head off".Right after Vam Dam got the pin.  Vam Dam is a face and The Big Show is a heel.

I for one really like this new feature, I wish it could be adjusted like other things. So we can decide how much for it happen.

Thanks for this new feature. The game just keeps getting better and more real all the time.

Why can't you use this for the rest of the foreign objects? Instead of blatantly throwing a wrestler an object and using it in front of the ref, (Which is why I don't see why these objects are foreign) the ref is atleast down or the ref DQ's the person that uses the object.

It happened because it was a hardcore match.

Dominus - good idea. Let's see how I can tweak this ;-)

Maybe you can configure it so that in matches where hardcore mode is turned on, weapon use happens as it does now, but in matches where it's off, it happens more like belt shots - ie causes DQs and is usually used when the ref is down.

Would that work, or would it be too much work?
