Some questions for anybody with the answers

doors11Posted on 08/20/03 at 06:01:32

Last night on smackdown

who was the service man who attacked the dudleys.
I know i've seen him before.

What is the song that was the intro for Evolution last night. It sounded like a new song.

The last question there was a wrestler a while back who was in the WWF who body slamed Geraldo Rivera.
I think he had a nick name of Dr Death, Dr X  or something like that..IT WASN'T STEVE WILLIAMS. This wrestler was sued by Rivera and out of wrestling shortly after this happened. I'd like to use him. But I can't remember his name.

Thanks

You're mixing up eras :-)

It wasn't Geraldo Rivera but John Stossel. The Dr Death in question was Dave Schultz, not Steve Williams.

I'm suspecting the guy who attacked the Dudleys was Rob Conway from OVW... at least he looked the part ;-)

Thanks Oliver  I thought it was Geraldo that's too bad it wasn't. The guy had a big mustache if i remember right.

I knew it wasn't Steve Williams, but i thought he went by Dr. Death and i didn't want everybody to say Steve Williams.

I thought the wrestler looked like another wrestler i've seen from a few years back.

And it was RAW not Smackdown.

The song I think is by Motorhead.  Well atleast last time I checked it was done by them.  Not sure what the name of it's called.  They do Triple H's old Music as well ("It's Time To Play the Game...")

Can anyone tell me what exactly happened with this John Stossel thing?

The serviceman who was at RAW on Monday Night is "Ironman" ROB CONWAY. He is another product of the WWE's farm system Ohio Valley Wrestling. The same place that brought you the Bashams, The World's Best Tag Team with that Shemale Shelton Benjamin, and of course Brock Lesnar.

Actually, Schultz went by "Dr. D", not "Dr. Death".

As mentioned already, it was David Shults and John Stossel and he did not slam him but slapped him around quite hard. Shults was one scary mofo. I believe he now works as a headhunter. (Not the corporate variety.)

And to comment the comment, "Dr. Death" isn't wrong either because that's what he used to be called backstage.

Ah, I did not know that. I just remember him being announced as Dr. D. When I finally have some money to buy some tapes, he'll be one of the first exports I'll do :) .

Thank you everyone who answered.

Now that i know his name again,I looked it up in my book"Biographical Dictionary of Professional Wrestling"
And it tells about the bitch slap he gave John Stossel.
(Still to bad it wasn't Geraldo).

According to this liitle thing about Hulk Hogan and steroids  David was 42 years old in 1992.So 60 is pretty close  , While searching for David Shults stuff I also ran across a nice thing about Terry Garvin being gay.

What's the final verdict of why what happened happened with Dave Schultz and John Stossel?  The what is pretty much no question - Stossel asked about wrestling being fake and Schultz smacked him around like a little bizitch.  But why?  I've heard from different places that Vince wanted him roughed up, that Vince wanted him roughed up a little but Schultz took it too far, that Schultz snapped either from roid rage or just being a plain old mean angry bastard.  What's the truth?
