Breakable Via Ropes?

I noticed that on most of the wrestlers under their finisher, that Breakable Via Ropes is checked.  Doesn't this only apply to Submission moves?  Or does it make it so the person being pinned can put their foot on the ropes?  Like after a Gorilla Slam you could put your foot on the rope, but in a Perfect Plex, it's highley unlikley.
Should this option be checked if it's not a submission move?

It does only apply to submission moves. However, there is no harm done having it checked for pinfall moves as well.
