What's your Match Speed Delay?

Tom_ImpPosted on 07/16/03 at 03:12:27

I'm just curious as to what everyone here uses as their Match Speed Delay number.

I just bought a new top of the line system a couple of months ago. Very fast!   :o
Anyway, in order to have the introductions and match text run at a normal, but reasonable rate I have set it all the way up to 5000. I could get away with 4000, but I like the intros to go a little slower and allow for more of the theme to play before it actually announces the wrestler's name.

So, what do you all have yours set at?

2500, but I'm on an older 500 Pentium 3.

I just have it full speed. I'm such a fast reader, I'd get very impatient waiting for it to progress line by line. That said, the intros are still slow, one press of the keyboard will start the theme and another will bring up the wrestlers name but that only happens some of the time.

Currently, it's 520. That's because my laptop is a poor old slow thing, and I use it primarily for everything now in regards to my circuit. On this machine (my desktop), it'd all scream by, but on the laptop, it's just right so I can read everything as it happens. I have a tendency to skip ahead otherwise.

Oh, and intros? Disabled. :)

The code doesn't even contain a "wait for keypress" statement after launching a theme.
