Starting a TNM circuit

leftsaidfredPosted on 06/19/03 at 05:17:11

I'm not sure if this has been covered else where, but I'm going to ask anyway  :P

Basically, I've had troubles sticking with circuits I've started on TNM. I've just been lacking ideas, partially because I've been out of wrestling completely for a good three to four years, partially because I have very little knowledge about the current state of anything beyond what's said on here and the RAW I watched about three weeks ago, and partially because I haven't had much time to dedicate to it. So, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could do to get a good one started.

Thanks.

If I were in your position, I doubt I'd be able to get into TNM at all. I like to use most, if not all the current wrestlers and if I were "out of the loop" for 3 to 4 years like you said you are I wouldn't know where to start.

Best bet for you would be to just use all the wrestlers you remember from when you last were into watching. I've found that if I try to use someone I don't know or barely know it's not much fun and I wind up not using him as much.

I'd advise you to start around when you stopped watching regularly.  Maybe take control of one of the big 3 (if they're still around at that point in time), or start a new federation with wrestlers not under contract to the big three at that time.  Work forward from there and see where things take you.

If you need ideas for who to hire as time advances, watch RAW and SmackDown a bit to see who impresses.  Perhaps order a TNA pay per view or buy a ROH show to get a good look at some of the up and coming stars of the future (AJ Styles, Low Ki, Ron Killings, American Dragon, etc).

Whatever you end up doing, have fun with it.  The wrestling business is in a lull at the moment, but there's a lot still out there to like and to learn.  Perhaps a good start with a TNM circuit can help you to rediscover your fondness for it?

Pick up the wrestlers that you know, and fill the rest with some fantasy guys, this is usually what keeps me intrested is seeing how my fantasy wrestlers develop against some of the wrestlers that I loved from when I used to watch often.
