Strict pushes

Oliver wrote this in another thread:

Strict pushes have only one influence on the match: when it comes to deciding whether or not a finish is acceptable.

How big does the difference between pushes have to be before the lower pushed wrestler doesn't have much of a chance to win.

I thought of something else too. Older version of tnm asked you if somone was a current champion when you hired him (or was it when you edited him in the database) If you said yes, it would change his push to 105. Is there anything like that in tnm where pushes increased when somone holds a belt?

Try to keep the differential between the winner and loser around 50.  It sucks, because push also affects how much the crowd enjoys your match.  Meaning that if you use cruisers like WWE does--as their own division AND as jobbers to the heavies--than your heavies would have pushes as 80-100 and cruisers would be something like 20-40, just in case.  Do you see what I'm getting at here?  Since push also affects your match rating, it's conceivable that Big Show vs A-Train could have a higher rated match than Mysterio vs Matt Hardy because the heavyweights' pushes would be higher.

Yep, it sucks.  There was a whole thread in which Oliver went into a lot of detail regarding pushes, if you feel like looking around.
