Match bugs
DarkAndEvilBastard | Posted on 04/14/03 at 17:53:05 Oliver, Any chance of the Falls Count Anywhere matches getting overhauled to where a booked pinfall will happen when it's supposed to, regardless of where the wrestlers are at? Tommy |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 04/24/03 at 19:24:55 Do you mean that the program should change the match's rules in that case ? For instance, in a regular match, when the wrestlers are outside and your planned spot is supposed to take place ? |
DarkAndEvilBastard | Posted on 04/24/03 at 21:14:57 No, I'm just thinking Falls Count Anywhere matches...if I have a finish booked for 7 minutes in, and the guys are in the second level of fans...the finish doesn't happen. In my experience, booked finishes for Falls Count Anywhere matches only happen when the wrestlers are in the ring...which can make a match drag on...and on...and on...if they're brawling towards the back of the arena. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 04/25/03 at 15:35:50 This is an interesting observation and the first time I've heard anything to that effect. Please give me some time to try and reproduce this behaviour... that would be step one towards eliminating it ;-) Thanks ! |
DarkAndEvilBastard | Posted on 04/26/03 at 01:16:37 ... Wow. First time? This is THE reason I don't have Hardcore divisions in booked feds! Book a "Fight It Out" match and you should see the problem pretty quickly... |
NotTheMomma | Posted on 04/26/03 at 17:08:17 Whilst were hovering around the subject, what in the name of Baron Jimmy Von Jimmy II Of Jimmy is a Fight It Out match? To me it just sounds and looks like a variant on FCA, but correct me if I'm wrong? |
DarkAndEvilBastard | Posted on 04/27/03 at 04:50:56 It's an FCA match that starts in the back of the arena instead of the middle of the ring...=) |
NotTheMomma | Posted on 04/27/03 at 16:51:57 Ok, thanks. I guess it would be kinda useful for those late-WCW-era Hardcore Title hit-him-hit-him-with-a-rubber-glove-type crapfests. |
