Do you use women?

Tom_ImpPosted on 02/26/03 at 08:54:07

In your feds that is.   ;D

I've tried to since they are more prominent in today's wrestling, but I find myself quickly growing bored of using them. That and I don't like how their stats mix in with the male wrestlers. I totally rely on the stats to set up feuds and determine who are the top wrestlers in line for title shots and it kinda messes things up when the women are scattered in there as well.

That would be cool if there was some way to have the women's stats separate from the men's. Kinda like how it can sort Singles, Tag, and 3-Man Tag stats, add another option for sorting Women.

Aside to manually keeping seperate records (which is a pain) you could also set up a secondary fed for JUST the women in your fed, and use THAT to determine Women's stats.

I don't use them for the same reasons as you mentioned. I think the only proper way you can, is in a fully booked fed.

i dont use them either.  no point for me too.  lol

I use them sparingly as the need arises.  Were I to do a WWE circuit starting today, I'd make a point to at least make token use of them.

But in general, I've never seen a women's wrestling match that I thought was good.  I think I saw one match with Trish vs somebody that made me think "well, Trish doesn't totally suck any more...as a wrestler"

I just dont like American women's wrestling.  And I've never bother to look in to Joshi.

The Outlaw Wrestling Federation, A fed I have been running for a long time I have used women off and on and think it has been quite sucessful.

I thought about doing that, but then I'd have to run two separate feds. I really don't feel like doing that and just want to include them in the same cards as the male wrestlers without having their stats mixed in with the men as well.
Oh well, beggers can't be choosers I guess.

I also don't use women, but I would if they were needed.  The ratings for their matches usually come out low, and they don't mix well in the ratings like someone said earlier.

Nope. I only like to hire, y'know, good wrestlers. Either I hire the few good females that have been prominent in North America (Bull Nakano, Luna, Victoria, Molly's not bad, ditto Madusa Miceli, there's a few others) and try vainly to build a division off that and miserably fail or I hire a bunch of Japanese women I've never heard of and consequently can't really get behind.

Hence, for me at least, no point.

I use six women for my fed: Candy Okutsu, Cuty Suzuki, Kaori Nakayama, Lady Apache, Rie Nakamura and Yumi Fukawa.

I include them on the same card as the male wrestlers. But, I don't totally rely on the ratings. So this works for me.
