Move Database Editor

A lot of the moves in my various copies of TNM7se have the tag "May End Match" checked. Unfortunately, I just don't see some of these moves being "match enders."

However, you can see the problem in editing each move one at a time.

If we had a Move Database Editor, that would solve that problem. Simply select the moves you want to edit and it brings up a screen similar to TNM7s Move Creation/Editor screen.

HOWEVER, since these moves are likely to be completely different (ie - some are Illegal, some can be done with weapons, etc) every option should be greyed out. Only by selecting whichever variable would you be able to edit it. In this instance "May End Match." From there, you change it's setting to "off" or whatever. Save, and all these moves no longer "May End Match."

you mean a "full arm drag and a twist" won't end a match? ;)  How about the ever dreadful "flying body attack" or the "Oh whattamanuever"?

You know, the first post reminds me- has anybody put together an "official" TNM moveset? I know a lot of my moves do not have the style-specific counters set, and I don't know enough about the technical aspects of wrestling to work that out myself. Plus, I'm sure some of my moves have out-of-whack damage scores- I've seen a truly dreadful number of wrestlers submit to armbar submissions and stomach claws. Anybody wanna' share their expertly-crafted moves list?

The Moves Database really does need a better clean-up/tweak tool...first off, the same move will make it in under 3 different spellings each of 2 different names. Do I want "knife hand chop", "knife-hand chop", or "knifehand chop"? "arm drag", "armdrag", or "armdrag takedown"? It'd be handy to see the moves' stats when making the decision which to delete.

And some of these moves are just odd - blind foul? kitchen sink? screwdriver? flying hug? Well, that's what I get for Importing someone's comedy fed exports without opening it in Notepad first, I guess.

Every time I see the move "Cavernaria" in the list, I think of the time Bastion Booger finished off some jobber with a sitdown splash and Bobby Heenan commented "Time for a trip to the Batcave!"

I am in agreement. I am just not well enough schooled in the technical aspects of wrestling to be certain of some moves, and some I just plain haven't heard of. Oh, and the Kitchen Sink is listed in the RAW vs. SmackDown video games- I think it's some kind of knee lift off of an Irish Whip, though I can't remember. The others, can't help ya, though I think the Screwdriver was somebody's finisher (couldn't tell ya what it is, though).

.....wasn't the Screwdriver one of Scott Steiners old finishers - vertical suplex pick-up into a tombstone piledriver......

Correct. It was used durring his WWF days.
